I guess I should explain: it will be an intentional cutaway on a 3 canopy system. I figure I need to practice as it has been over 240 jumps since my last reserve ride (I have 3 so far)

Pack a line over mal w/ line twists and throw in some pig tails for some nice tension knots.......oh yeah and a broken steering line. All kidding aside be safe and have fun. sounds like a blast!!

Yeah, it's been 88 jumps since my last... I figure I need to practice, too. Also need to practice chasing a main... I'll wear my Raven t-shirt to commemorate your jump.

I had a reserve ride on my 40th jump - not a cutaway, but rather "where's the bloody toggle". I don't like the long brake lines on student reserves...if you want to turn, pull down the toggle and make yourself a cup of tea while it decides whether to respond.

Pods doing much better... I'm going absolutely stir crazy knowing that I can't get in the air until mid June... may head out next week and do a tandem, at least I'll get some freefall time, just leave the landing to someone else.

Had a little trouble with my landing in Monterey... broke both big toes, and sprained my right ankle... So, I'm out until June 13th. Hence the nickname from Grasshopper and Shark "Toe Jam." And that's how the story goes... g, AKA toe jam, AKA stubby!

140 Jumps on it and I'm not really sure what color the reserve is. I'm assuming my rigger didn't shove some towels in there and sell the reserve. But he hasn't made eye contact with me recently. Hmmmmm.

on fryday i had a cutaway too, not on the dz, it was in my living room, i´ve had cutaway my girl friend :-))))))))
now i´ve more time for skydiving and skydiving related things thats great!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
