Keys 0 #1 May 9, 2001 Just out of curiosity, and to avoid doing any work:What are you guys paying for a lift? We're $18USD for 13,000 (but we usually get 14,000).
Dutchboy 0 #2 May 9, 2001 Even in the US you will see variations, usually between $17-$20 unless you buy blocks. I think that $19 is the most common price to 13.5k right now. I've seen $17 during the week a few places. One of the local DZ's charges $12 to 10k in a C-182.

Iflyme 0 #6 May 9, 2001 I'm an "A" licenced Canadian jumper paying $37 to jump from any altitude. It will go to $27 when I get my "B".
Keys 0 #7 May 9, 2001 It really depends on the plane. Turbine is going to cost more to get you up but at least your not going to be crammed into a 182 for 30 minutes. The single engine planes are still relatively inexpensive to fly.We lease a King Air (which costs us more than owning). We own a 182, if your willing to take the time it will take you to 12G for $13. skreamer 1 #18 May 9, 2001 mooooooooseI'm going to fetch my new rig (using skydiver logic it is cheaper to take a holiday and fly there than it is to pay customs and P+P). I am getting my rig the Friday evening, having my cypres installed, then jumping at Naples that weekend. Then off to probably Lake Wales for the week, then back to Naples for the weekend. So, yes, I am going to jump my little nut off while I am there. When you start considering buying your first new rig - check out Rigs 'n Things (www.para-service.com), I have got excellent service from Roy.Hey, if you aren't stuck on an oil-rig, you should come along - it'll be a hoot and a holler, mmmmkay./s

I want to go to Empuriabrava...wait, no...I would rather be a Georgia Peach!Makes me think of that Presidents of the United States song, Peaches! Oops almost forgot to add what the thread is really about: At Dallas we pay $19 to 13,500 (minimum!!) and it is $17 on Fridays. Cushing is cheap, $15 to 10,500. Every other place I have been is about the same, $17 or $18. Man, Frank up there in Canada ya'll are getting bent over the back of the sofa aren't you? OUCH!!! Seems like a lot of the Europeans are getting raped too...I shall not bitch about the price of a jump ticket again (until next time)...LOL It's better than when we were on student status, don't you think?
