mountainman 0 #1 May 7, 2001 Hey all! This weekend, I took 14 people from my college down to Aerodrome Sky Sports in Richmond, IN to do their first tandems. That was a very cool feeling to go there and have all of these people land from under canopy with the hugest smile on their face (minus the one girl with puke on her face, on the instructor, jumpsuit, and harnessHopefully some of those people will go on to do more training. I know that several of them expressed interest. Just thought that I would share!!Also, I met Jaybird and Cameramonkey. It was really cool to see the faces behind the screennames. Can't wait to talk to you guys again in late-June when we're down there for AFF!blue skysMORE SKYDIVING PHOTOS ADDED!!!http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/
Dutchboy 0 #2 May 7, 2001 Cool. I've gotten that many people to try it, but never all at once. Congratulations! It's really cool when your friends decide to jump too. I have gotten 30% of my company to jump and a couple of the guys and I are starting a team.
Grogs 0 #3 May 7, 2001 Sweet deal Brandon. I'm glad you can get people to go jump with you. I can't get any of the lamers from my work to do a jump, even though I've tried. I had a couple of girls who were a bit interested, but they didn't think it was worth $179. If they were cute and unattached, I might think about financing that, but they've both got bf's, so I gave up on them. Maybe some day I'll get one of them to go and experience the joy of falling
 mountainman 0 #4 May 7, 2001 The worst part about this was that I was at the DZ from 9am until 7:30pm waiting for everyone to jump. This was 10.5 hrs of watching...and that's it! My wife and I had to watch the whole time. No jumpin. OH well.....this summer will make up for it!MORE SKYDIVING PHOTOS ADDED!!!http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/
 cameramonkey 0 #5 May 7, 2001 QuoteThe worst part about this was that I was at the DZ from 9am until 7:30pm waiting for everyone to jump. I was soooo sore from shooting several of those tandem vids (Still a little sore). I just wish our editor could have kept up with the workload. But damn it, we got all 14 done at least. It is hard to do that many vids with not many guys to do it. Hey...if they'd ask, I would've strapped one to my head and jumped.Good to meet you too!!MORE SKYDIVING PHOTOS ADDED!!!http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/
 PalmettoTiger 1 #7 May 8, 2001 QuoteMaybe they could've gotten a discount, huh?? Hee hee hee... 1% off for every second of freefall they're not in frame. Hey, the most the DZ could lose would be 60%...
