rhuurrr 0 #1 April 20, 2001 Went out and did FJC with Freak last Saturday. After the 6 hours, met my JM's (Pat and Lee), got geared up and headed out to the King Air. whoa--talk about butterflies, I was more nervous than I thought I'd be!!! At about 10,000 Pat taps me on the shoulder and tells me that they just got a call, winds at 19mph, sorry, no students..:( So out goes everyone but my girlfriend, me, one other guy and two of the JM's. Suddenly I was soooo bummed out that I didn't get to go. Watching everyone else jump out while we strapped back in really sucked. Almost as much as riding down.So here we are, a rainy Northern California Friday, forcasts of partly-cloudy to clear for Sunday, and those damn butterflies fluttering about in my stomach again!!!Gotta get this damn level one overwith already!!!!!Blue Skies (PLEASE!),Jack

PalmettoTiger 1 #5 April 21, 2001 Yeah, I'm sitting out a beautiful day here in SC. It's my sister's birthday, she's had a terrible week, and it would be pretty lame to bolt to the DZ on her birthday. So we're taking here canoeing, cooking her a beeeeeg dinner, and taking her to an improv comedy festival tonight.Rhuurrr, looks like you and I are doing "Relative Work" today (as my rigger refers to it). Here's hoping you enjoy yours as much as I enjoy mine!Blues, squares,PTiger
mountainman 0 #6 April 21, 2001 dang tiger...sounds like you have a pretty sweet day anyway! (aside from skydiving at least). If I wasn't skydiving, (which I'm not yet), I wouldn't mind some canoeing, a "beeeeg" dinner, and a comedy show. Will you do this shit for me when I have my b-day??laterzNEW AND IMPROVED!!!http://home.woh.rr.com/brandonandlaura/

In fact, hubby & I drove out one day a few weeks ago on our lunch hour to check it out...turns out it's only about 15-20 minutes from work (in Livermore). Can you say looonngg Friday lunches?! Seemed like a nice place to jump, so maybe I'll see you out there soon!Good luck with your jumping!Blues,Karen
