I have my A, and ~45 jumps right now, but have never jumped away from my home dz. Is it a good idea to have more experience with bigger groups in the sky, landing different places, etc.? decorous 0 #6 April 21, 2001 I was in the same boat last year with only around 70 jumps before Quincy. I was concerned, But had no problem with the amount of people. however, it is something to be cautious about. As long as you are safe and use good judgement then you should not have a problem, I think the minimum requirement is 50 jumps or the equivilent of a B license. I know cause i was told to get my ass on a lot of loads so that im Quincy eligible this year :) As much as I would love to go... I heard stories of last year. Crazy amounts of skydivers (6,500+) and aircraft.... It seems like sooo much. Im not sure if i would be ready for that without many jumps. I dont consider 50 the magical number for quincy. I consider my level of comfortableness in the weeks before to be my judgement. but in any case, if im ready, you can bet your ass that ill be there! whoo hee.
