fcajump 164 #51 November 3, 2014 Not tandem, but was sitting student in a C-182. Since I prefer my seat belts snug, my swing out attempt was halted almost before it began... Another reason to have them snug. While embarrassing (the jumper in JM position on his knees saw and guffawed) no actual harm done. JWAlways remember that some clouds are harder than others... Another reason to have them snug. While embarrassing (the jumper in JM position on his knees saw and guffawed) no actual harm done. I remember 3 of us out on the C182 strut, waiting with grips to launch a donut, while the 4th member of our group was behind the pilot's seat, furiously fumbling to release his seat belt.
