PLFXpert 0 #4 March 26, 2001 I feel for you, Sis. I know exactly how you feel as I lost my altimeter before. I looked EVERYWHERE for it and it drove me insane b/c it was only a week after I'd bought it. It finally turned up in my trunk where I had my gear bag and it must not have been zippered closed all the way so it must have fallen out in there. Whew! I will pray for you to find it but there's hope!Much love and blue skies,Carrie http://www.geocities.com/skydivegrl20/
Pammi 0 #5 March 26, 2001 Ah, that sucks! You'll come across it, I know it!
dove 0 #6 March 26, 2001 I am definitely praying for you! I would go into mourning if I lost mine! All the high-tech things it does and it doesn't have a pager! It'll show up - hopefully BEFORE the next jump! Elisa
miked10270 0 #7 March 26, 2001 Hi Sis,This may seem drastic... But if all else fails then:Put your car in your garage & all your belongings in your house.Buy 2,000lbs gunpowder (surely not all that difficult in Texas)!?Place 'said gunpowder under foundations of your house.Detonate same.Listen carefully for "Beeping noises" on the way back down.Hope this helps.Mike D10270. Greg 0 #11 March 26, 2001 Look inside your gloves, thats where I keep mine. If you have a pair of shoes you use for jumping in look inside there. Look in your helmet. In case you started drinking early, look in the refrigerator.Hope you find it!!

freaksister 0 #14 March 27, 2001 no because i remember having it the morning i was leaving to come back home. i was packing all my stuff up and i know i had it then, but that was the last time. i thought i put it in my logbook or my wallet, but its not in there. i always leave it in my helmet, always! the one time i don't put it back in its place.....disaster! Shark 0 #15 March 27, 2001 Sis,A dude at Elsinore lost his in freefall. He sent the company, L&B an email and they sent him another at no cost.Just an idea. I'm sure it would help if you have the serial number, etc.HTHBTW, took mine to work today and messed around with it. Some would say fondled.

PLFKING 4 #17 March 27, 2001 Sis -- This may sound dumb, but my JM packed his in his main twice while I was a student. Just dropped it by accident, and packed it right up......found it both times BEFORE jumping, however. The PLF Diva
