guilhermevh 0 #1 January 28, 2015 Is it possible to pack Mirage G4 M3 with Optimum 176 & Firebolt 182?? A rigger told me that is possible, tight, but it's safe and possible. I saw here (http://www.jumpshack.com/firebolt.htm) that the volume pack of firebolt 182 is 468(Volume Cu. In); thanks

guilhermevh 0 #6 January 29, 2015 medic0079So find something that they have that has s similar pack volume I.e. triathlon 170 thank you... looking for more information at http://www.jumpshack.com/Read/Tech/canopy_volume_chart.htm in the fact triathlon 170 has the same volume as firebolt 182; but, is this site trustable? medic0079 0 #7 January 29, 2015 I assume that's the same jumpsack that makes racer. They are a very reputable company. That being said idk if that chart is something that was provided to them by the canopy mfg or if they did their own research. It should be close either way. I think you will be just fine if not downsize. You should be jumping a 150 anyway. Kidding of course.

TMPattersonJr 0 #9 February 4, 2015 I worked for Mirage previously and currently for Parachute Labs. The 182 packs about as big as most 190's so if a 170 is going to be snug a 190 is going to be a brick. I will not be unsafe by any means because if you can close it, it'll come out. It may just not look really pretty when closed. If you cannot come up with a larger container and cannot downsize the main you would probably be fine with this combo but it just would not be ideal.Blue SkiesBlack DeathFacebook www.PLabsInc.com www.SkydiveDeLand.com www.FlyteSkool.ws
yvanpec 1 #10 February 4, 2015 TMPattersonJrI will not be unsafe by any means because if you can close it, it'll come out. is it a rule of thumb or is it a personal remark ? arent size charts supposed to guide people not to use a "if you can close it it will come out " kind of thinking ? i mean, put a 1 foot closing loop and you can close pretty much anything, right ?Better be on the ground wishing you were up there than being up there wishing you were on the ground. TMPattersonJr 0 #11 February 5, 2015 If you can put it into the bag it's going to come out. This is just from personal experience and I've packed some stupidly tight ones and they've worked just fine. Again I'm not suggesting this combo by any means and there is a possibility of complications of you overstuff a container. The biggest complication I see is trying to pack this combo to begin with.Blue SkiesBlack DeathFacebook www.PLabsInc.com www.SkydiveDeLand.com www.FlyteSkool.ws
