georgiaboy 0 #1 March 18, 2015 I am currently having a Mirage G4 container made for a pilot 168 ZP. However, I just found a good deal for a Pilot 168 ZPX. I would prefer to get the ZPX but am unsure if the ZPX will fit properly in my container, because it packs smaller. Any insight on sizing or experience with downsizing is appreciated! Blue Skies! DHemer 0 #2 March 19, 2015 Doubt there will be any issue You may just need to shorten the closing loop a bit afterwards I pack a 168zpx into a container made for a 170. makes getting the canopy into the dbag pretty easy
skydiverek 63 #3 March 19, 2015 I was told it will pack one to two sizes smaller.
Jeff5050 0 #4 March 19, 2015 I would agree the ZXP packs one or two sizes smaller. I jump an I5 Icon made for 150-168 ZP aerodyne canopy's, and have a pilot 150 ZXP in there and it is a bit on the small side for the container. Has good B.O.C and pin tension but looks a bit loose in the container when packed.
yvanpec 1 #5 April 2, 2015 my 188 zpx fits perfect in an I4 so that's about 2 sizes smaller. side note: it took around 50-60 jumps on it to fit this well. you'll hate your life prior to that jump count.Better be on the ground wishing you were up there than being up there wishing you were on the ground.
