peppermint 0 #3 March 19, 2003 During a time such as we are living in, I think it's important that we not make comments like that. Does that really make him stupid? Or did he simply overlook a handicap? The flowing wave returns not, nor does the passing hour.

Why don't you say George Bush is so stupid because... and then give a few reasons why you think he is stupid. __________________________________________________ Don't take life too seriously. George Bush is an idiot because instead of quoting the genocide of 100,000 Kurds in 1988 he's trying to make bullshit correlations with 9/11. It makes me sick."I encourage all awesome dangerous behavior." - Jeffro Fincher

peppermint 0 #10 March 19, 2003 I'm just trying to say that we all have opinions, however tension is high now...why not just say this: "I don't like how George Bush does this..." or, "I don't agree with the way he does this..." instead of saying he's so stupid...blah, blah..and his reason for saying that was a little lame. Haven't we all heard the Stevie Wonder story? And yes, in "times like this" it is important to realize that there are more important things going on in the world. The flowing wave returns not, nor does the passing hour.

pojo 0 #19 March 19, 2003 here is a better one i hope this one will be funny Penis Requests a Raise I, the penis, hereby request a raise in salary for the following reasons: I do physical labor I work at great depths I plunge head first into everything I do I do not get weekends off or public holidays I work in a damp environment I don't get paid overtime I work in a dark workplace that has poor ventilation I work in high temperatures My work exposes me to contagious diseases Dear Penis, After assessing your request, and considering the arguments you have raised, the administration rejects your request for the following reasons: You do not work 8 hours straight You fall asleep on the job after brief work period You do not always follow the orders of the management team You do not stay in your allocated position, and often visit other areas You do not take initiative - you need to be pressured and stimulated in order to start working You leave the workplace rather messy at the end of your shift You don't always observe necessary safety regulations, such as wearing the correct protective clothing You'll retire well before reaching 65 You're unable to work double shifts You sometimes leave your allocated position before you have completed the day's work. And if that were not all, you have been seen constantly entering and leaving the workplace carrying 2 suspicious looking bags. Sincerely, The Management pojo In heaven all the interesting people are missing.
DJL 235 #20 March 19, 2003 To paraphrase Eric Ericson, absolute patriotism leads to loss of morality. Kind of like how blind Christians are towards Pat Roberts and Faldwell. So "times likes this" is exactly when we should be the most critical and the most demanding of the government.
