happythoughts 0 #1 April 12, 2004 I once heard a comment that the reason that time existed is so that we wouldn't do everything at once. I keep seeing a certain thread scenario over and over. It goes like this: Poster 1 - Someone/country did . I think it's a good idea. Poster 2 - Why? How was that action justified? Poster 1 - Because of the occurence of there. Poster 2 - Well, then why didn't they do that in . has going on there. Even at a state level, there may be multiple problems. "Oh sure, they solve , but they are surely neglecting . Doesn't anyone think of the little children and squeaky babies? They are our future." I can't think of any person/govt with the resources to solve all the worlds problems simultaneously. Sometimes it is necessary to deal with them one at a time. Sometimes, we have to take each issue and address it individually. Make a decision and take action. This reminds me of something I heard on TV this morning about us (US) doing something to start bringing peace in the middle east. Not just Iraq is the impression I got. The first and only thing that came to my thoughts was...hold on one fu$%in' second, what about the wars in Iraq and Afghanistan, plus the "conflicts" in half a dozen other countries throught the world?
