A fine example of "Planning the dive"....

I hope he KNEW there were no wires between those poles.:S

For newbies, roads and poles equal generally equal wires that you can't see.

Except there were no power poles. Only STEEL light poles. Even so there would have been room on the side. But wires between steel light poles in town would be something I have never seen. I get your point and that should be covered in the fjc for newbies but I saw no issue with that landing. Hell the Road was wide open anyway
That spot isn't bad at all, the winds were strong and that was the issue! It was just on the downwind side.

I didn't so much mind that the wingsuit rodeo failed, or that the 2 non-wingsuiters went for some plan-B RW, or that their wingsuiting friend made a wide pass after they had opened.

What was useful as a cautionary tale was the poor CRW between the two non-wingsuiters, that resulted in a double cutaway. Both guys were maneuvering at the same time. While CRW pros might well be able to hack that, normally one person flies steady and the other attempts to pin. Here the bottom guy had a moving target above and in front of him, sashaying around unpredictably. No wonder they ended up with a wrap / entanglement.

Yep. I showed and explained it to my whuffo friend as meeting someone in a hallway and both moving. Probably a real bad analogy but good enough for a non jumper. If I had been behind(which I would have been in that situation) I would have been screaming at him to hold fucking still so I could park it on him. At first.... then I would have turned and burned if I had my doubts. And yes. I have been there before doing x braced crw with my buddy for his first time. And I did take off and regrouped on the ground.

I thought it was amusing that the later guy to cut away had his canopy partially inflated flying backwards entangled with the other main and yet still collapsed his slider before cutting away. Some might say to get a better look but really? There was any thought of not cutting that away
