Muenkel 0 #27 August 1, 2004 If I remember correctly Dean decided not to run in '02. Maybe he was planning his Presidential campaign at the time. Anyway, in '02 his Lieutenant Governor ran against Douglas. Douglas, the Republican won in the '02 sweep and also because most Vermonters were pissed over Dean signing Act 60 and Civil Unions into law.
