turtlespeed 226 #3 July 29, 2004 QuotePolitical satire? Eh....maybe clicky Zee - Again io protest with this argument - would you like it if it were your picture in the satire? Have some respect - I didn't agree with it when it was Bush and I will not condone it just because it is of the other party. It is disrespectful -I'm not usually into the whole 3-way thing, but you got me a little excited with that. - Skymama BTR #1 / OTB^5 Official #2 / Hellfish #408 / VSCR #108/Tortuga/Orfun

turtlespeed 226 #12 July 29, 2004 Where's that rabbit picture? The job that they are applying for is an important one. They deserve the upmost respect, wether you agree or disagree with their policy or not. airdweller 0 #13 July 29, 2004 The office may deserve the upmost respect. However the people running for the office should not be entitled to that same respect. They should have to earn respect just like every other person.------------------------------------------------------ "From the mightiest pharaoh to the lowliest peasant, who doesn't enjoy a good sit?" They deserve the upmost respect, wether you agree or disagree with their policy or not. Granted, being in the public eye is a given, but have SOME respect. You're makin' this too easy, Turtle - No politician deserves respect for the simple fact that he/she IS a politician - respect is something that has to be earned. And, at least in my eyes, neither one of these spin doctors has earned it. Even more ironic, in Bush's case at least, is the fact that with his criminal record he wouldn't even be considered for a job workin' the fryer at Burger World, yet, when it comes time to run the country, ehhh, a little coke habit just doesn't seem to be much of problem. Kerry doesn't talk about it much, but back in 'Nam he was actually a POW for 6 years, stuck in a bamboo pen right next to John McCain. Every day, Charlie would stick Kerry's head in a vice and apply slow pressure in an effort to get him talking. At the end of those 6 years, Kerry finally broke down and agreed to come back home and subvert the American government from within. And he continues living up to that task every day. . . =(_8^(1)
 bch7773 0 #19 July 30, 2004 ok well i thought it was a funny film.
