ScubaSteve 0 #1 August 31, 2004 I have been searching the DNC and Kerry websites for information with no luck. I am looking for the plan offerer to counter what Bush has done. I can find all kinds of information on what the current adinistration has failed on but cannot find one item of sugestion or alternate plan. Can someone post links to the following plans: 1-Kerry's plan to stimulate job growth. 2-Kerry's plan to resolve the health care crisis (Drs and Malpractice insurance) 3-How Kerry would handle national security. He has been a senator for 20years so his has a history. 4-Enviroment? I am still trying to decide who to vote for and jst want to know what the plans from each are. Thanks in advacee. Pleas edont make this a slam bush post. We all already know what has been done to date.
peachsouthern 0 #2 August 31, 2004 The problem is...Kerry doesn't know. But I'm sure "if" he ever gets elected he'll let us know then. And then thats when we need to start worrying as a nation. I believe we were heading toward armageddon long before GWB took office because the previous president basically ignored the warning signs. That must have been some BJ! _________________________________________ Chris
TheAnvil 0 #13 August 31, 2004 You're being insensitive to ScubaSteve's feelings. He asked that this thread not become a Bush-bashing thread. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
ScubaSteve 0 #14 August 31, 2004 I have no tatic. You snet me the same links I have already read. Does that sound like a good plan for job growth: 1-Raise The Minimum Wage 2-Protect Wages And Workplace Rights -- Including Overtime Pay. 3-Enforce Equal Pay For Women 4-Extend And Improve Unemployment Insurance 5-Protect Worker Safety 6-Ensure Strong Whistleblower Protection 7-Protect Workers' Right To Organize A Union 8-Make It Easier To Balance Work And Family 9-Expand Trade Adjustment Assistance Programs Where is the plan to grow jobs? Kerrys Economy: Create Good-Paying Jobs As president, John Kerry will cut taxes for businesses that create jobs here in America instead of moving them overseas. John Kerry and John Edwards will also stand up for workers by enforcing our trade agreements. Delcared Illegal by World Court and the Dems already were againts this when current administration did this for steel industry. Cut Middle-Class Taxes To Raise Middle-Class Incomes When John Kerry is president, middle-class taxes will go down. Ninety-eight percent of all Americans and 99 percent of American businesses will get a tax cut under the Kerry-Edwards plan. Really. This is what bush tried to pass, in part. Tax reform would be better than tax cuts. I dnt know if this would be good or bad, but Kerry voted against Bush's tax cuts. Make Washington Live Within A Budget John Kerry will cut the deficit in half during his first four years in office. He will end corporate welfare as we know it, roll back the Bush tax cuts for the wealthiest Americans, and impose a real cap to keep spending in check. And when John Kerry puts forward a new idea, he'll tell you how he's going to pay for it. Cut from what programs? Some detail would be nice. I would be cuts would be from military and intel. And also tax corporations more. We all love Taxflation. Also will he cut the current deficet in half- thats a huge feat for 1st year- or will he only grow it half as slow? And wont that crush the bond market? Lets just talk about one topic. How will Kerry fix economy since the bush camp has been unsuccessful.

PhillyKev 0 #17 August 31, 2004 Well, since you were apparently trolling, I won't bother helping you out anymore. But you only listed a few points from those links. There are plenty more. Why are you ignoring them? Nothing bad to say about them?

ScubaSteve 0 #19 August 31, 2004 Trolling? I just didnt have time to re-read them while at work. And I appreciate the links but I have already read them. I was just hoping to find more detailed info. Thats all. I was hoping this thread was not going to be a anti-bush anti-kerry thread. Just looking for facts. I guess if I had a point it would be they seem to have the same plan at a core level. Some details are different. It would just be nice to have a choice that is different than what we already have.
