Latest Electoral College Polls

Recommended Posts

According to the most reliable source for polls (Rasmussen) Bush has increased his lead. He's now up 213 to 175. It seems Kerry's flip-flops and lying has finally caught up with him. Here's how the past few weeks have looked.

Date Bush Kerry
Sept 6 213 175
Sept 5 213 207
Aug 29 213 207
Aug 28 200 190
Aug 27 183 193
Aug 22 183 203
Aug 20 183 223

Unless one takes a *winning* lead, it's a leap to make that conclusion. 213 to 327 wouldn't be considered that close an election.

Looking at those numbers, it's obvious that Kerry lost a state into the too close to call category. That doesn't mean he isn't still leading it by a single point (we know that it only takes a few hundred votes to win).

Per this source, the 2 pt bounce from the RNC didn't translate into any solid gains in the electoral college. Still at 213. It may have helped in the battleground states.

The debates might be meaningful this year. Kerry better study Gore's failures there.

Is everyone seeing the trend on that Rasmussen poll display? It seems that no matter the current poll numbers, Dubya is gaining ground fast.

What else would you expect?

I'm not ready to move out of the country yet, how bout you? Maybe its all those liberals dragging down our scores. IQ or not, no one can come close to this country in industry advancements, advancements in medicine, technology, human rights, etc. You could probably find some country that might perform well in one metric, but not as a whole.

Try Scandinavians. Them Vikings are pretty good across the board on all above mentioned. Much smaller scale though...;)

When George Bush is finished with his hamburger, he always leaves the tray and empty styrofoam boxes and messy ketchup spills and stuff spread all over the table.

I said, "George, you should pick up after yourself." But he just walked away as he yelled out, "McDonalds pays people to do that for me!"

That George!

Hell yes!

Screw King Georgie. And you know what? I'm tired of all these damned Kerry bashers in here. They just can't make up their minds about anything!

Half of 'em say he's got this crappy voting record in Congress, always voting for the wrong things, like gutting the military and what not. The other half says he doesn't even vote, always missing sessions, and then they throw around this ridiculous 76% absentee rate and whatever.

Doesn't it make you sick? I mean, either he was there voting or he wasn't! Those conservsative pricks want it both ways, and it just won't work!

Average IQ of the list = 100 +/-7 (7 is about a half standard deviation). So this rocket scientist is showing that the average IQ of everybody in the list is average and not statistically different than any other country. (I'd rather do this with confidence intervals, but that data isn't in the post and I'm too lazy to get it myself). What is really means is all these countries average about 100 more or less with in the natural error of the measure. Makes sense.

Guess what - smart and dumb people are not substantially different based on the country they are in. Despite what some try to claim in these forums.

Edit: John knows this, so what he's doing is amusing himself, laughing at you so to speak when people try to justify a 98 as below normal. Now that I think about it, it is funny.:D
