tunaplanet 0 #1 September 8, 2004 In a speech yesterday he was jumping all over the fact that the death toll in Iraq reached 1,000. He also said something that contradicts his and the liberal party's stance on the war. He said he was sorry and grateful to the men and women who died fighting the war on terror in Iraq. Wait a second. I thought the war in Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism. I thought the war in Iraq was Bush's personal vandetta against Hussein. I thought the war on Iraq was another evil scheme of Haliburton. I thought the war in Iraq was about oil/money. I distinctly remember liberals, including many on these forums rant and rave from the mountaintops that the war on Iraq had nothing to do with terrorism. This man is the lamest excuse for a presidential candidate I have ever seen in my entire life. Makes Mondale look like George Washington. When is this man going to just come clean and be honest with America? Doesn't he see his lies and flip-flopping has all but killed his run at winning the presidency? How did you make the leap from what people say on this forum to what Kerry has said or believes? Are you saying he flip flopped because he's expressing a different opinion than other liberals. Here's a clue for you, as much as you like to think it and say it, "liberal" is not a definition of a particular ideaology or specific party platform. TomAiello 26 #9 September 9, 2004 QuoteNot to be rude or anything... I've just reviewed a good chunk of your posts in this forum. You _do_ seem to have quite a tendency to post one liners, invariably rude, and often personal attacks. Speaker's corner is _not_ the "flame forum". Discussions of controversial topics can still be discussions, rather than just name calling. Why don't you take a week off to consider that?-- Tom Aiello Tom@SnakeRiverBASE.com SnakeRiverBASE.com
