tunaplanet 0 #1 September 30, 2004 Here's some quotes from Edward's interview with Imus yesterday. Watch for the flip-flop. IMUS: Senator Kennedy said the other day that the Bush administration's obsession with Iraq has made this country more vulnerable to a nuclear attack by terrorists, which is pretty strong. Do you agree with that? EDWARDS: I do. IMUS: Oh, you do? EDWARDS: I do. Moments later. IMUS: The vice president implied ... that if you're elected, it would make a terrorist attack more likely. Is that what you're saying now? EDWARDS: About who? IMUS: President Bush and Vice President Cheney – that electing them would invite a terrorist nuclear attack? EDWARDS: That's not what I ... IMUS: Well, Senator Kennedy seemed to be saying ... EDWARDS: That's not what I – that's certainly not what I was saying. At least the acorn doesn't fall far from the tree. PhillyKev 0 #2 October 1, 2004 He didn't say re-electing them would invite a terrorist attack. He said their current actions are inviting a terrorist attack. Most of these flip flops you guys point out go something along the lines of... Kerry: All elephants are grey. Republican pundit: Are you saying all grey animals are elephants. Kerry: No, I didn't say that. FLIP FLOP!!!!!
freeflydrew 0 #3 October 1, 2004 I feel sorry for you everytime you post things like this... If Edwards says re-electing Bush will invite terrorist attacks, then says re-electing bush won't invite terrorist attacks, it would fall under the category of a flip flop... He did not say that, so it doesn't fall into the category of flip flop. Doesn't the whole flip flop accusation/name calling/pointing fingers feel a little ridiculous, elementary and old by now? There's certainly more important things to talk about than this.
headoverheels 333 #4 October 1, 2004 Most of the cited examples of flip-flops are partial information, or the information is not correctly interpreted by the average (dismal) reader.
Mirage63 0 #5 October 1, 2004 About as ridiculous as Bush N.G. service record. But I agree there's got to be better things to talk about on BOTH sides.

crozby 0 #8 October 1, 2004 Hey Tuna, I think you need to post about things other than Kerry. It's just not healthy being so obsessed with another guy like you appear to be. Besides, if you thought Kerry was a flip-flopper, well he is NOTHING compared to weather girls. One day they say it's going to be sunny, and a day later they say it's going to be rainy, and then it's going to be snowy, and next they say it's going to be sunny again. God-damn flip-floppers.
