gemini 0 #1 October 13, 2004 After reading many and participating in a few discussions over the last few years, it has become very apparent that we have a few quys playing the devil's advocate here. I have to admit I've done it a few times too. Anyone else get their jollies by stirring the pot? Blue skies, Jim
quade 4 #2 October 13, 2004 There are some buttons, usually labeled "whatever you do, don't press this" that sometimes create in me an irresistable urge to press anyway. Sometimes, when I see one of the people that I consider just a bit too over the top (well outside the bell curve) in their pursuit of a particular topic and if that person is has a propensity and long history of bloviating as well . . . I dunno . . . I'll admit it, I've been a baaaaad boy. They tell me admitting your problem is the first step. edited to add What? wmw999 2,534 #3 October 13, 2004 I just saw this thread. I think I'm too nice and polite to elicit a strong reaction from anyone . At least no one has ever gotten banned by cussing me out... I guess my work isn't done yet, then, is it? Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. freeflybella 0 #4 October 13, 2004 I'll fess up! But I have to say - the left/right, dem/rep, bush/kerry BS is about as boring as it gets. I prefer when it skates just close to the line of personal attacks. Like the 'Steel/Treejumps' banter about canopy piloting! Not to say there aren't a few sarcastic wits in SC... quade 4 #5 October 13, 2004 Well, I think there -may- be a few on the right side of center that I could swear I've seen get a little miffed over some of your comments.quade - The World's Most Boring Skydiver
juanesky 0 #6 October 13, 2004 I believe the correct term is not miffed but "Meeped"."According to some of the conservatives here, it sounds like it's fine to beat your wide - as long as she had it coming." -Billvon
