If I were the requisite 35 years of age I would vote for myself. Saturday Nite Live producers and talk show comedians would LOVE all of the material they'd get from President JACKASS. However, I think I'd have to say Badnarik or Bush otherwise.

Interesting poll.

The problem with voting for someone other than a candidate from a major party is that candidate would have no real power in DC. I suspect the Dems and Repubs would only view them as a fluke to be put up with until the next election.

I'm sure that's exactly how the Democrats felt in the 1850's, and you're correct that both state approved parties feel that way now, but after an election? I don't think so. I think we'd see a massive scramble between the two to become more like whomever had finally showed them that they are not all-powerful.
