I don't at all. NY, like CA, goes to the Democrats because of New York City. The rest of the state is conservative. CA is predominantly conservative if you remove LA and San Francisco from the equation (and UC Berkely too, of course).

Without the 11 swing states you have it Bush - 222 and Kerry - 186

He should get at least the following states.....

FL, OH, MI, WI, MN, NM and NV.

That gives him 316.
