AggieDave 6 #1 November 3, 2004 Something that hasn't been mentioned yet is that Tom Daschle was defeated. This first time in 52 years that a senate leader was unseated. Actually, this is one of the best things to happen in a long while to the senate, he wasn't representing the people from his state correctly and the voters spoke out and voted him out.--"When I die, may I be surrounded by scattered chrome and burning gasoline." argon 0 #2 November 3, 2004 I sat next to that piece of shit during the West Point graduation this year and told him to his face that I thought he was a disgrace and hoped he lost. I also asked him why he wasn't invited on stage.(Rumsfeld was the keynote speaker). The enforcement detail gave me a hard time but when they realized I was retired law enforcement(disabled as a result of) and said as long as we are in america I'll say what I wish-because after all-he works for all of us. Fuck him. He even extended his hand and I refused to shake it. My neice who graduated is now in flight school and I'm glad Kerry won't be the commander in chief.*********** Freedom isn't free. wmw999 2,439 #3 November 3, 2004 And yet we have complaints about liberals bashing Bush. You have a right to your opinion. It's just funny that it's "honest expression of opinion" on one side, and bashing on the other. It's bashing either way, folks. Just because you agree with the basher doesn't change what it is. dubbayab 0 #6 November 3, 2004 The day Daschle stood on the senate floor crying and saying that this president should apologize, is the day I became a republican. and that Kennedy fat cat is he a democrat? he needs to go also. I just don't like him either.

Never said I was a compassionate conservative. I'm a pragmatist. He did his best to be an obstructionist. I have conservative values and by the results of the election-I'm not the only one. Daschle blocked court appointments-now I hope we get rid of judges that try to legislate from the bench. PS: Special thanks to Michael Moore-he woke up alot of republicans with his nonsense and retoric. Tom Daschle was shocked when I asked him if he was proud of the obstructions he created and wished him a defeat in November. Fuck Him and good bye. PS: what are you guys going to do with the "Selected -Not Elected" bumper stickers? As far a Bush bashing,it never bothered me,you have a right to your opinion. I won't make an excuse for saying what I feel. People died for that freedom. Funny though,I have a question for a liberal? Why do most liberals find capital punishment wrong under all circumstances, but feel the destruction of unborn children is OK?*********** Freedom isn't free. flyingferret 0 #8 November 3, 2004 Bashing, smashing.... This has nothing to do with agreeing with his platform, it has to do with a politician representing a platform to his constituents and then behaving according to a completely different platform in DC. My hat is off to the citizens of SD, and this is actually a huge indicator for this reason: They willingly chose to unseat a politician that historically has always brought home the pork to their state, because in the end integrity mattered more than self interest, a lesson to be noticed.-- All the flaming and trolls of wreck dot with a pretty GUI. windcatcher 0 #9 November 3, 2004 Yay, I'm from South Dakota, I am sooooooooo glad that Daschle doesn't represent us anymore. You have no idea how much he was misrepresenting our state... and now he's gone! Mother to the cutest little thing in the world...

Ok, he's gone. Big Deal, I'm sure they will elect another minority leader. FYI - The RNC threw a ton of cash and attention into getting rid of Daschle. See, you really can buy an election._________________________________________ you can burn the land and boil the sea, but you can't take the sky from me.... I WILL fly again..... Kennedy 0 #11 November 3, 2004 Come on man, is that going to be the complaint for the next four years? Quote God forbid that we should have balance in our gov't as it was designed. It was designed that we could elect representatives to the government. It was designed that the powers of government be balanced. It was not designed that the political leaning of government be balanced. ps - having two major parties is guarantee that it won't be "balanced" any time soon it takes several parties or no parties for the government to really reflect the peoplewitty subliminal message Guard your honor, let your reputation fall where it will, and outlast the bastards. 1*

And yes, for every screw up this administration makes, I'm gonna be vocal. I will remain suspect of him until he proves other wise. Since he isn't willing to admit he can make a mistake, then I am of the mindset that we are in for a world of hurt over the next four years.
