Every vote was counted (several times) in 2000. The accusations that cops kept black voters away from the polls, etc. were never proved. Not one person was found credible on those accusations. Several liberal and conservative media organizations counted the Florida votes and in all, Bush came out the clear winner anyway. The news that I heard/read said that Bush received the highest number of votes than any presidentioal candidate ever. Can you clarify how Gore got more votes in 2000? The letters to the editor in the local (Maui and Honolulu) papers are much, much more funny that the comic sections! About the only thing Bush hasn't been called is the antichrist by these sore losers. And I thought the papers in the pacific NW were liberal! A recurring theme is that 55 million people voted against Bush (they weren't voting for Kerry?) and he needs to listen to that message and pass legislation that reflects those 55 million, no he doesn't, they lost Well, like one of your favorite organizations says, moveon You democrats/liberals need to understand that the majority of the citizens in the United States do not embrace what the democratic party has become and we won't, ever again. And until the democratic party moves away from that abyss on the left they have been teetering around, they will not have a snowballs chance in hell of ever getting elected POTUS again.
