John Kerry is such a pussy.

Recommended Posts

I was willing to give him credit when he made his grascious concession speech. Now, he is blaming whomever he can for his loss. First it was the OBL tape and now it is Fox News.

Senator Kerry, you lost the election because you got less votes than President Bush. Get over it and move on.[:/] You have no one to blame but yourself and your campaign staff.

Likewise . . . the dead horse has already been beaten.

You're right he lost as did Gore in 2000.

Seriously, I -promise-, if all the folks on the right wing radio talk shows would just shut up and leave him alone . . . he'd just go off into obscurity, but for some rediculous reason . . . they can't. I can pretty much guarantee he's never going to run for President again, so he really shouldn't be much of a national topic for you guys from this point forward.

Can we now move on to current events and leave the election in the past (unless, of course, there come to light new developments about massive voter fraud or something, but since you guys don't think that's possible, that probably won't come up either).

Given the liberal bias of the MSM, I'll guarantee that if any of that DOES show it, it'll be all over the airwaves...

Yeah, but clearly that would be news.

Calling Kerry names at this point is simply a waste of energy. Kerry is irrelevant unless between now and January 20th somebody at Diebold pops up and shows how they rigged the machines. Not that I belive that actually happened in this case (although it could have and we certainly need to take steps to ensure it never does), just that it would take something like that to make the name Kerry relevant.

Yes, it would be news, I agree.

With that said - since Kerry has conceded, why does he feel the need to keep going back and griping about how/why he lost? He's the one that keeps feeding the fire.

I listen to those shows on the way to and from work, and I haven't heard Kerry's name in the last two weeks... can't speak for the mid-day stuff, but the morning and evening shows seem to be leaving him alone.

Or maybe how all you guys were saying the machines were rigged?

You guys should try it before telling others to do it.

I am pretty sure I heard the other day that
John Kerry received the most favorable reporting
by news agencies of any Presidential Canidate
ever.

So, if the coverage was balanced, one could assume
he would have done even worse.... How come he hasn't
talked about that????

It may be a strategic move, if you think about it.
If he comes out and points a finger at a news organization, it will come under a microscope now and during the next election. He is is 1) helping the media be accountable/credible, and 2) he is already setting the groundwork for his next election.

Well, Bush received less votes than Gore in 2000, so it's actually that Kerry received fewer electoral votes than Bush. But I know that's what you meant[:/]

Actually the reason the Dems can't win is that the fiscal right and the moral right are to many. The Dems are gonna have to accept some moral right extremist ideologies or never again win.

None.

Why did Harris get re-elected if she was so bad?

Why did Bush beat Kerry if he "lost" last time?

"Why did Bush beat Kerry if he "lost" last time?"

He was appointed by the US Sup Ct the first time, then apparently elected this last time.

"where are the criminal charges?'

Please, don't act as if all crimes are charged. That's as bad as saying that OJ must be innocent (or not guilty) because the jury said so.

This last election was legitimate as far as I can tell. The former one, with all of the conflict of interest may have been different if things were investigated. Oh well, look what we gained with Bushy in ofice:

1. More arsenic in drinking water
2. Cut Ergonomics Bill
3. Record budget deficit
4. Most job losses since Hoover, then refused to extend unemp beneifts
5. First time the US blatantly refused the UN, dissassociating us from them.
6. Most secretive administration ever
7. Entered a war without probable cause, and lied about all of it with the notion of WMD's
8. Allows Mexican truck on the road even without safety, smog, or insurance requirements of the US truckers
9. Gave tax benefits to corporations that sent jobs overseas, and has been quoted as saying it's a good thing to outsource jobs. Clinton supposedly gave military secrets to China and was booed, Bush exports millions of US jobs and is elected - how dumb can 59 million people be? <-- as quoted from a UK newspaper.
10. Patriot Act - please, let me hear you defend it.
11. Largest stock market drop since Hoover
12. massive tax cuts for rich
13. State budget shortfalls lead to college tuition increases

I could go on for hours.... Here is a list of 1,000 reasons your president is so great:

http://www.thousandreasons.org/listP.html

Tell ya what, let's be fair - post a list of all the great things he's done.

But we all know why he does this.... "If this were a dictatorship, it'd be a heck of a lot easier, just so long as I'm the dictator."

Gee if he was elected this time (just like last time) more people must think he is doing OK.

I mean if Gore really won, and so many hated GWB...Why didn't Kerry win in a landslide instead of losing, losing seats in at the capital, and losing Goveners?

Gee ya think Clinton handing over a bad economy, and then a terrorist attack that killed more people than Pearl Harbor had anything to do with that?

5. First time the US blatantly refused the UN, dissassociating us from them.

Yeah, cause the UN is so great, they can't enforce their own rues, and were to busy violating the restrictions they passed, and of course food for oil.

7. Entered a war without probable cause, and lied about all of it with the notion of WMD's

Gee, Gore, Clinton, Burger, KERRY and the house and Senate thought he had them.

"He will use those weapons of mass destruction again, as he has ten times since 1983."--Sandy Berger, Feb 18, 1998.

"Without question, we need to disarm Saddam Hussein. He is a brutal, murderous dictator, leading an oppressive regime...now he is miscalculating America's response to his continued decit and his consistant grasp for weapons of mass destruction...So the threat of Saddam Hussein with weapons of mass destruction is real" --John F. Kerry, Jan 23, 2003.

the supreme court did not "appoint Bush" to his first term. They made Florida abide by the laws of Florida that were in place at the time of the election.

Every vote was counted (several times) in 2000.

The accusations that cops kept black voters away from the polls, etc. were never proved. Not one person was found credible on those accusations.

Several liberal and conservative media organizations counted the Florida votes and in all, Bush came out the clear winner anyway.

The news that I heard/read said that Bush received the highest number of votes than any presidentioal candidate ever. Can you clarify how Gore got more votes in 2000?

The letters to the editor in the local (Maui and Honolulu) papers are much, much more funny that the comic sections! About the only thing Bush hasn't been called is the antichrist by these sore losers. And I thought the papers in the pacific NW were liberal! A recurring theme is that 55 million people voted against Bush (they weren't voting for Kerry?) and he needs to listen to that message and pass legislation that reflects those 55 million, no he doesn't, they lost:P

Well, like one of your favorite organizations says, moveon;)

You democrats/liberals need to understand that the majority of the citizens in the United States do not embrace what the democratic party has become and we won't, ever again.

And until the democratic party moves away from that abyss on the left they have been teetering around, they will not have a snowballs chance in hell of ever getting elected POTUS again.

You actually think that Clinton handed over a bad economy? That's the most absurd thing I have heard in years. He handed over a Surplus in the Treasury. Bush pissed it away to the point that we now have the largest deficit in history. I am much worse off today than I was when Clinton was in office.

An economic smoke and mirrors surplus that some reports say was created by shuffling money out of Social security - I know I mentioned it in another economy thread on here.

Not to mention the fact that the economy was going into a recession due to the .com bubble bursting, that DID occur under Clinton's watch.

So, yes... Bush inherited a failing economy from Clinton, overall...
