I've been wanting to post these 2 question to all of the Americans in here for a while, but for some reason I haven't untill now, so here goes...

How do you guys think that Europeans feel about the USA as it is today?

How do you think Europeans react to the re-election of your president?

Just curious I guess.

yeah... I think the Europeans don't hate Americans personally, but our current administration has been a diplomatic disaster.

But yes, Europeans, in general, aren't too happy with the results...however, just like everyone else...they have to deal with it...and pouting like a bunch of 3 year olds isn't going to help matters...but that is just my opinion...

I think some of the Europeons would like to come to the US to do some shopping and check out some of the sights.

They do, these foolish Europeans, they do! I tried to get a suitable cheap flight for a short X-Mas trip to NYC :$ Impossible around these days!

Fully correct, I tried - tried - tried - tried - ......... endlessly. I was ready to kill my computa. The lady at travelling agency as well.

Gave up later, will stay at home and waste all my money on something else.

WE DO love NYC too much. :P

1- cheap hotels in NYC DO NOT exist (or they are not listed)
2- always be nice to your travel agent
3- next time try and book your flights end of january (plane tickets can be purchased earliest 11 months before departure)
4- tray and find dates when people travel less (cheaper prices, more seats available... which makes cheap tickets easier to find)
5- instead of NYC come back to Empuria
6- yes I am a travel agent again (starting 3rd of january)

It's been my experience that most USA americans don't have a clue what's happening outside their own doorstep.
The media there is extremely parochial,
If it ain't a direct concern they don't acknowledge it even exists. (the rest of the world that is)
