will i think thats cool if you believe we went in there like heros to save the poor iraqis. but bro , what about history. we put saddam there, how hipocritical to say we're saving the iraqis by taking him out. but are you telling me we're not gonna stop until every dictatorship in the world is overturned.

the whole point i was making about skydivers being killed may have passed over your head so let be back pedal for a sec. on a previous post a guy was saying somehow we should be in iraq because of 911. my point was that makes as much sense as invading spain or someone for skydiver deaths. the point being that iraq had nothing to do with 911 and no other country had anything to do with skydivers dying.

Who is to blame for the Iraq mess? Than we have to go back in history. We (western countreys) used to support our beloved Saddam, than he turnes against us... than we accused them of having a nuclear arsenal... well... we -wesern countreys- shouldn't patronise every country. People with other cultures see things differently. We don't have the best thing... but on the other hand, people overthere suffered from the dictatorship of Saddam... but things have gotten worse since the war. To me it is a world war that is happening in that area.

History is why we are there. The US and other countries played with the devil in order to fight the Cold War which was partners with Iran. (Enemy of Enemy is my Friend logic). In hindsight that led to the current events but no one says we would could have won the Cold War otherwise.

It didn't go over my head. Your comparison doesn't make since. An individual death in a sport like parachuting does not compare to soldiers fighting in a large scale war. No body is shooting at me when I jump. I check my own gear. Now if someone rigged my parachute to fail then I might see a small comparison but yours was more general.

We didn't invade Iraq because of 9/11....that event just gave the country the motivation to support the (past 3) Administration's desire to do so.
