This is my last post on this till you can provide better evidence than and Advertisment and "a buddy told me so".

He is not a buddy, he is a paid consultants who does work for me, who is also a sergeant on the Toronto ETF.

My question was how often your elusive SF buddies have used the taser in combat and how often of those times in cold weather. I have provided those numbers.

It is okay to say you have absolutely no clue.

Since you have reached MC 11, I have to assume you are not able to use google,

try this:

Oh, and you may want to read this fall issue of Canadian police Chief magazine:

http://www.cacp.ca/english/publications/backissues/fall-2002.pdf

Unless you think it may not get very cold in Ottawa and winter coats aren't necessary.

anyways, like I said mc 11.

Edited to add:

Looks like the state troopers in alaska use those tasers too. I am sure they don't wear winter coats up there either.

In the end, a winter coat will not stop a taser, multiple layers of thick winter clothing might. However, looks like many police departments in very cold environments use them with great success.

Anyways, tell your SF buddies I said Hi.
