Andrewwhyte 1 #3 March 31, 2005 I wonder if they will ease up on Soviet Canuckistan now that they're flogging Foxnews to us on cable.
Jimbo 0 #4 March 31, 2005 I'm curious (and off to Google to find out), how does this thing actually work? I'm going to assume that each cable carrier broadcasts Fox on a different frequency. dorbie 0 #5 March 31, 2005 That's why you select a channel on the order page. It just filters the chosen frequency band. It's generic equipment, you could buy the same equipment from thier site and get yourself a See B.S. blocker.

narcimund 0 #9 March 31, 2005 QuoteWhat's with the port 82 use? Makes me wonder about them in general. They're running the site off a cable broadband connection (Sunflower Cablevision if you're curious). The provider blocks the normal web server ports. This gets around it (at least temporarily!) kelpdiver 2 #10 March 31, 2005 there's a policy that makes sense - block off only the people who wouldn't run a high drain server.
