QuoteYou are wrong, JohnRich. From Darius' post I read until today, I was able to learn that he loves his country and is happy to live there.
It's not your place to say what Darius believes.
Even if he does love America, I wonder why he never has anything good to say about it here. I would think that freeing 50 million of his fellow Muslims from tyranny would be worth a little; "Thanks, America".
QuoteYour post seems to be extremely unkind, inpolite and sounds agressive.
So?
When someone accuses America of starting wars for mere profit, he deserves an unkind, impolite and aggressive response. You reap what you sow.

Nor have we heard you condemn the latest tortures/homicides by US interrogators. Does that mean you support torture?

A religious war is a war fought between two armies as to who has the best imaginary friend.

Can we at least make sure the Iraqi Jews and Iraqi Christians still get persecuted?

Comparing "the latest tortures/homicides by US interrogators" and the "daily massacres by Muslims against other Muslims" is ridiculously invalid on several levels, most especially in sheer volume of death/torture rendered. Completely ridiculous.

Yeah, I know, we're all infidels, and the only good infidel is a dead infidel.
You assumed the only reason for the war is 1) religion, and; 2) profit.
You left out a couple of others in your love for your fellow man:
The desire to see 50 million Muslims live free from tyranny, and to make the world a safer place.
Gee, I don't know how you could have missed that motive, with all that love you have for America.
News:
BAGHDAD, May 23 -- A Kurdish official escaped a carbomb attack on his convoy in northern Iraq on Monday, but five people were killed in the attack. Muhammed Jigareti, a senior official of the Patriotic Union of Kurdistan (PUK), survived the blast, but about 18 others were wounded. Insurgents have mounted attacks on senior government officials since a new government was announced in late April, killing more than 550 people.
How come we haven't heard you condemn any of these daily massacres by Muslims against other Muslims? Are Sadam's underwear more heinous to you then these mass murders, by your own people, of your own people?
