I am not sure I agree with that but you did get me to thinking......."America will never be destroyed from the outside, if we falter and lose our freedoms, it will be because we destroyed ourselves." Guest #27 August 22, 2005 QuoteYou can be against terrorists without being against Iraqis. You can be against abortion without being against doctors. And you can be against war without being against soldiers. Please help me out here, because I'm having difficulty comprehending a bizarre paradox, to wit-- During Vietnam, protestors spat upon, humiliated and in some cased brutalized conscripts returning to the USA. This time, the baby-killers are all volunteers, but the lib-left always speaks of "supporting the troops but being against the war." Isn't this a little backward? mh ."The mouse does not know life until it is in the mouth of the cat."

I wasn't around for Vietnam, but my father was. He'd see his students graduate, get picked up by the military, and not come home. He was always organizing fundraisers for their families, and was active in several "release the POW's" groups. He was also very much against the war. He feels the same about this war. Doesn't seem backwards to me.
