Everon 0 #2 August 20, 2005 I saw a video on the controversy and it was pretty compelling - especially the lack of damage if it really were an airliner and not a missle. The problem is: then what happened to the airliner and it's cargo of passengers?????

Everon 0 #11 August 20, 2005 The evidence in the video is actually compelling. And there were eyewinesses, supposedly, who say it was not an airliner. There was also a video taken by the F.B.I. from a gas station (?) of the event that has never seen the light of day. Put simply, I've seen much more ridiculous conspiracy theories than this one. Personally, though, I don't believe it. Like I said, if true, WTF happened to a commercial airliner and dozens of humans? I'll try to find the video for you guys and post it here. Gravitymaster 0 #12 August 20, 2005 Rhino, I have a good friend who works for the Commerce Department. She is very high-up the food chain and has a private office on the top floor that has a very good view of the Pentagon. She was standing in her office looking out the window and she saw the plane crash into the Pentagon. Thats right, she saw it approach, fly over Arlington Cemetary and hit the Pentagon. She said there was no mistaking it to be a missile. It was an Airplane. We are good friends and she has no reason to lie to me. There are many people who are eye-witnesses to the plane hitting the Pentagon including 8 or 10 others who were in her office that day as well. Alex Jones in an idiot and you'd do well not to believe anything he says. He makes stuff up to make money like many of the supermarket rags. If you ever get to the DC area, please look me up and I will arrrange for you and I to go to my friends office and you will see the view she has and you can question her about what happened that day including the entire Commerce Department being evacuated. There was no missile that hit the Pentagon. It was an airplane.
RhondaLea 4 #13 August 20, 2005 QuoteIt was an airplane. No, it wasn't. But it wasn't a missile either. It was a government conspiracy ("conspiracy" should be pronounced with a long "i" sound). Go ask all the kooks at alt.disasters.aviation. They'll tell you. They've been telling anyone who hasn't already killfiled them for the last four years. Sheesh! rlIf you don't know where you're going, you should know where you came from. Gullah Proverb

CDRINF 1 #17 August 21, 2005 QuoteThe problem is: then what happened to the airliner and it's cargo of passengers????? A good friend was a company commander in The Army's 3rd Infantry, The Old Guard. He and his soldiers witnessed the crash while finishing a funeral in Arlington Cemetery. Clearly an airplane. Two days later they went in to the Pentagon to recover bodies. The soldiers all asked the same thing, "where was the plane?" What they soon realized was that the Pentagon is so solidly built, that the plane quickly disintegrated as it traveled through the structure. The largest piece they found was a section of ten rows of seats that was compressed into about 10 feet. The bodies were still belted into the seats. Unless you have been to the area around the Pentagon you may not realize it isn't in a remote area. It's right next to I-395 which is a very heavily traveled highway going in and out of DC. In addition, it's very near Crystal City, a large Office, Hotel, Condominium and shopping area. There are thousands of people traveling I-395 at that time of morning. I know someone else who was driving a Convertable and actually had pieces of airborn debris from the plane landing in his car. The thing these idiots who continue the BS about a missille hitting the Pentagon always seem to do is to play on the ignorance of people to what the surrounding area looks like. If you pull up Yahoo or Google maps and then realize this happpened during DC rush hour, it's laughable. They also seem to only show photographs that depict what the want you to see. Never the ones with debris from the airplane lying on the ground.
Rookie120 0 #19 August 21, 2005 QuoteBut in general, i love conspiracy theories. I dont. It just gives stupid people reason to try to make an argument. No matter what you try to say there will always be that dumb ass there saying "where's your proof". Tell them man really walked on the moon, "where's your proof". The moon is not made of cheese-"where's your proof". Missles did not hit the towers."where's your proof". Everon 0 #22 August 21, 2005 Actually what I meant was if it really were a missle, then what happened to the airliner - disappear into thin air? Dove into the Atlantic? etc. Anyway thanks for the info on remains found.
Rookie120 0 #23 August 21, 2005 QuoteActually what I meant was if it really were a missle, then what happened to the airliner - disappear into thin air? How about it broke up on impact and the pieces left were very small. I have been on a couple crash sites 2 of which some of the craft was still in tact. The last one I was at was a Baron that corked straight in for some unknown reason. The biggest piece that was recovered was about the size of a book and the biggest human remain found was a hand.If you find yourself in a fair fight, your tactics suck! Everon 0 #24 August 21, 2005 I understand this. The airliner in Pa. left absolutely no "large" fragment. What I'm saying is that if the airliner did NOT crash into the pentagon, then where TF did it go? The conspiracy theorists offer no explanation for this. Do you see my point?
