That is a fair statement, in my opinion.

There is no debate over the right to own nukes. Kallend is just using that for "sport" in his attempt to hijack the thread from its original topic and destroy it.

The gun debate is over "where to draw the line", and crew-served weapons have never really played a role in that debate. It's all about which "small arms", or firearms, should be permissable to own.

Of course, things like nukes and grenades kill lots of people indiscriminately. While firearms kill only those which you are aiming at and which you intend to kill. That's a big difference. If you are being carjacked, you don't want to detonate a nuke, but you certainly might be justified in shooting your attacker. I can't even envision a scenario where a private citizen would be justified in using a nuke...
