2, The charges are a joke based on a procedural gotcha

3 Plame was not covert She was working in the US for over a year (no law was broken)
4 She was "outed" a month or two before and nobody paid attention until Wilson piched a bitch
5Wilson lied, his report to the CIA backs up the theory that SD tried to get yellow cake from (that other country)
6 Plame, not anybody else, got Wilson, her husband the job.

Had Libby just invoked his 5th amendment right, he wouldn't have been indicted. This still doen't answer the question of whether Valerie "007" Plame was even covert at the time. Many think there was no outing at all and even if there was, it was more likely her husband. Apparently he used to go to parties and introduce her as his "CIA-Wife".

Look, you seemed to ignore the fact that I did not defend Libby. If he lied he should be in trouble. But let us not forget the fact that I was responding to a post regarding GWB not Libby.

The sad part here is he had nothing to lie for because there was no crime commited until he lied.

A staffer, by the way, whose predecessor you cannot name, whose function you probably cannot describe, and whose function in government is...what, exactly? Hmmm...uninvolved, yet making such statements to the press. I think not.

Again, think as you like. I am looking forward to hearing what comes of this. So odd that those screaming about national security being compromised are not commenting on the fact that the covert status of Ms. Plame's employment HAS NEVER BEEN SUBSTANTIATED IN ANY FORUM. Some people who disagree with me are rocks who couldn't even tell you who the current Attorney General is. Others are f&%ing smart as hell - billvon for example. El Jefe Clintonista is really damned smart and would disagree with me on on almost everything policital. Jimmy Carter as well. Pelosi - I think not. Pope Benedict - brilliant fellow in many regards no matter what one might think of his politics (like El Jefe Clintonista). He and I would NEVER agree on drug policy, but I don't think I'd refer to him as an idiot - and not just because I'm Catholic.

He wasn't indicted for espionage. He was indicted because in the many interviews he was subjected to over a 2 year period of time, some of his answers were inconsistent. Don't make this out to be more than it is.
