so can we please go back in time to all those threads that claimed that we were actually RIGHT to go into Iraq? and maybe re-do them all again, with the correct information......

And now after being wrong, we still feel justified to stay there and 'finish' the job.

I expect this will do more to promote terrorism against the USA that we ever hoped to get rid of by invading.

Of course, I doubt Bush and/or the military actually see anythign wrong with that. Nothing like driving the war machine, the military, oil, all good stuff for him and the cronies.

To hell with education, health care, the economy, the deficit......who needs it anyway......

I know some people have some issues with English as a second language, BUT, when I listened ( yes I listened to his speech)to him, the nuance was quite clear.
Let me say it the way he means.
I take responsibility for sending in our troops, BUT it was because those lying fucks in our intelligence community wanted me to invade because they only provided me with what I wanted to hear.

DUDE.. His boys in the Iraqui working group, the same ones who drafted the New American Century plan, needed to cook the intel to make their case as an excuse to follow what they had TOLD us they were going to do back in the late 90's.

re: Weapons of Mass Destruction

Ironically, it turns out that the Only WMDs
were the missles, rockets, shells and other assorted 'ordnance' which came from USA aircraft, Naval vessels, and ground forces ...and hit with "pinpoint precision" .

Ask anyone on the ground and in structures which were blown to smithereens, people who watched buildings crumble and loved ones die,,,, whether the destruction was on a "mass" level??? or not.....
...( there's no question they are weapons )
