I got it! I got it! You didn't stop being a bitch!! :P

Nope. That's not it. (Well, that may be true, depending on who you ask, but it's not the answer here.)

Does anyone know which states have the age of consent set as less than 18? Are there any left?

In Arkansas it's 16.

linz

All it takes is 1 rather quick Google search to find that information, you'd be surprised to find that only 15 states have 18 as the age of consent.

Doesn't surprise me. The laws here are pretty complicated, and it's been a few years since I used that information in my work. But although the age of consent is 16, it's not statutory rape if a 17 y/o has sex with a 15 y/o....but it is if an 18 y/o does. Once a person turns 16, he/she can consent to sex with a partner of ANY age. The laws in our state also deal with sex between two people both under the age of consent, and it has to do with the number of years difference in their ages. I can't recall the particulars.

As far as joining the club goes, I'd like to keep my options open, because I'm not sure that I can lick whipped cream from a woman's butt crack (which I would do very respectfully and with love, of course) and remain as a member in good standing.

Oh, I think the club would approve of members who do that in a loving way between consenting partners. You just can't go around acosting women on the street and tricking them into it, or doing it against their will. Fuddy-duddy's can have fun, they just must have permission from the participant.

Any person who goes to a stripper show has at least some rudimentary idea of what to expect, and if they get up on stage with the dancer they are implicitly agreeing to become part of the show. There's no other reason for them to be on stage, arguing that they don't know is bullshit because they've been sitting there watching and know what is going on. They also have the ability to say no and every exotic dancer out there will respect that. Their JOB is to stimulate the audience, which won't happen if someone is on the stage with them screaming or crying.

So if a male stripper pulls out his dick and tries to shove it in an audience member's mouth, that's okay with you?

>if a 21-year-old man talks a 14-year-old girl . . .

Again, we were talking about acts between TWO CONSENTING ADULTS. And my statement stands - it doesn't matter what YOU think of their sexual activities, what matters is what THEY think of them.

Well thank you for that clarification. The comments you made, which I highlighted in the post to which this is a response, made no comment about "adults" being a prerequisite condition.

You have this remarkable inability to tell the difference between an apple and an orange, John.

Just how far down her butt crack do you think that guy got with her pants still on?

Can you ever admit that you went off half-cocked without giving something a little thought beforehand?

Sheesh!

I can't keep up when people redefine the English language to mean what they say it means, not what English-speaking people understand it to mean.

"mean" does not mean "meant".

It means what it means. You miswrote...whatever, but it is what you wrote, and now you're changing the meaning.

No one can argue like that. And it's a bad reflection on you, not on those who don't understand you, because no one but you interpreted it the way you're now casting it.

Good grief.

You and I disagree on the interpretation of the stripper's performance. But that is a very subjective thing, whereby each person can come up with their own idea of the symbolism, if any, that they think is taking place. I came up with one idea, because I think like a man, and men have "dirty" minds. I have a lot of experience being a man, and have been hanging out with them for many decades. This is the kind of thinking they do, in private. They won't tell the women they think like that, because they're too polite, but amongst other men, they make such comments. For example; "Man, wouldn't you like to put it between that pair of tits?" (Sorry guys, for revealing our dirty little secret.) Women may think differently about such things, and have their own ideas of symbolism. I have virtually zero success in figuring out how women think. To each his own.

If a man is watching you with rapt attention and a wry smile on his face as you suck on a popsicle, it's not because he's recalling a fond memory of childhood popsicle. It's because he's making a sexual analogy, and wishing he could substitute his penis for your popsicle. Ditto with a male stripper's performance and the whipped cream. Anyone who's seen porno movies knows that one of the most common "cum shot" scenes seems to be from doggie style sex, squirting all over the woman's ass. And that's what I thought of when I saw that photo.

Pardon my explicit language. I don't usually talk like this, but I'm not going to play games with the language to avoid it.

So where am I going with all this? Okay, I'll wrap it up and bring it back around to your quoted message, above.

I think it is a bit arrogant of you to presume that your interpretation of the stripper's act is the only correct one, and that my interpretation is wrong.

Everyone is free to interpret the symbolism in their own way, using their own life experiences. Your mileage may vary. Thus, I cannot apologise for what I said, because I do not think I "went off half-cocked" (pun intended?), and I'm guilty of nothing except expressing a personal opinion. And that's the reason for which we are all here.

I harbor no bad feelings about you over what has transpired between us here, and I hope you feel likewise. If we can't reach a consensus on the issue, then rather than continue with any acrimony, I propose that we just agree to disagree, and let it go at that. I've said my piece to my satisfaction, and I'm content to let things lie with that.

God, I hope this was a joke to use one of RL's posts and change the phrase in question. Not really funny but whatever. She misspelled 'meant'. She was replying to me pointing out a spelling error in her post. In fact, the sentence in which the word appears (in post #222) does not even make sense with the word 'mean' ("..you understood what bill mean..").

<in the corner, praying you are kidding, but quite scared you are not>

Of course, that is beside the point because the definition of meant and mean are the same.

http://dictionary.reference.com/search?q=meant

You will notice the search term is "meant" yet the defintion is for mean. Same word, different forms.
Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

That's exactly it! And what if he then rapes everyone there, then kills all the black people in the audience? That's EXACTLY LIKE putting whipped cream on someone's butt.

One of my ex-boyfriends explained to me that guys walk into a room and size each woman up thusly:

"I'd do her."
"I wouldn't do her."

I've spent most of my life around men who spared me nothing, John.

How many times do you suppose that stripper performs that act in a week, a month, a year?

Do we think that all actors and actresses are living their roles?

Do we realize that many people in the sex entertainment field are gay?

Lisa, did you give that guy a hardon, you naughty girl? :D
