Is Gibraltar British or Spanish?

It sounds like bitterness on the part of the Spanish, to me.

Hey, i am here the only spaniard and i am not bitter. You brits can keep Gibraltar all you want as long as you don´t keep breaking nuclear submariness and repair them there. I mean, how hard can it be to drive a sub from A to B without bang it in every rock the mediterranean sea has.

Now that we are at it, you guys can keep Cataluña and Basque country as well, the only condition is that you take the people living there as well. They are a royal pain in the ass and talk weird. :o

Hi Torero,
just a little course correction: Obviously, PJ is not a Brit!
So take care, or the British community will punish you by eating their fish'n chips, washed down with a wonderful warm beer :ph34r:

I spent 3 months living (and pub-going) in England and did not encounter warm beer being served in pubs.

How did this myth originate?

Or is it a myth? Is room-temperature beer a British thing for real? Where do they serve it, and why?

And I like fish and chips!

Foreigners can't understand the difference between ale and lager.

Lager, which is what everyone else in the world thinks of as beer is served cold

Bitter, a darker beer is served warm, mostly - it's the way it's supposed to be served and tastes better that way - cold just removes any flavour (which is why american beer needs to be cold, it has no taste anyway so cold is the best thing going for it)

Yes it is real. Real (unfizzy) Ale is served at room temperature. It is more difficult to find in cities and trendy bars but it is far better than lager.
Do you want to have an ideagasm?

Yeah, but it's still a beer, right?

Well, then, it's still piss, and temperature doesn't really enter into it.

I know, I know, it's heresy to be a skydiver and not think beer is the greatest thing since zero-P, but I hate it.

Gimme a PEPSI any day. Keep your beer.
