I think the problem may be specifically with my "style": I interject a lot of expletives, profane ones. (expletive: a word, phrase, etc. not needed for the sense but used to fill out a sentence or metrical line.) Since the expletives are not needed for the sense, they by definition are extraneous and block up the meaning from being as clearly understood as it could be.
