narcimund 0 #451 February 20, 2006 QuoteNo personal issues with polygamy. Apparently it is irritating to you that I bring up issues that will not support your cause. No, it's AMUSING to me that you keep entering gay marriage threads to talk endlessly about polygamous marriage. Just between you and me, I think you might want to consider talking to someone about your feelings. First Class Citizen Twice Over
narcimund 0 #452 February 20, 2006 QuoteIt doesn't matter if people make logical errors, or fallacies or whatever. Voters don't have to pass logic tests to cast their ballots. In that case, you're eminently qualified to vote! First Class Citizen Twice Over

Just between you and me, I think you might want to consider talking to someone about your feelings. Your insults are not just between you and me, you air them for all to see. I can take it, but don't pretend that it is just between you and me. I contend that those opposed to polygamy should be labeled as a 'phobe and bigot, same as you would do to those opposed to your cause (but advise me to get help with my feelings). It is that simple, but it seems that you choose to ignore the implication of my assertion - that denying your rights is no worse than denying polygamist rights, and the voting public has no problem doing that.People are sick and tired of being told that ordinary and decent people are fed up in this country with being sick and tired. I’m certainly not, and I’m sick and tired of being told that I am

I'm not denying anything. I just said I don't CARE about that topic. If you want to start organizing a polygamy rights campaign, bring up your arguments and issues and I'll probably form an opinion. In the meantime, I'm not against your sexual preference. I'm just ignorant. And unlike MOST people, when I'm ignorant, I won't form a kneejerk opinion just to fill the gap. I'll hold off until I KNOW something. Try it. You might like it. First Class Citizen Twice Over
