Brokeback Army of One: 7 GIs Charged in Gay Porn Ring

Recommended Posts

Last year I heard a speech given by a female retired U.S. Army General reference to support in repealing D.A.D.T. Clearly she stated that if D.A.D.T. was repealed that "you don't bring sex back to the barracks and don't engage in conduct that is unbecoming of your military role regardless if your gay or straight or whatever. These fools by their action clearly were in violation of Article 131, the so called catch-all Article of the UCMJ regardless of sexual orientation issues and do not deserve any help from SLDN whatsoever and deserve the punishment that is handed out to them.

yeah well I am personally glad not be sharing a fighting position with them.

I don't care if a man is gay I just don't want to have them think about doing something other than their duty.

The real shame is that the Army, and the 82nd Airborne now have this shit hanging over their heads like a hard dick!, no matter what the outcome it just isn't going to be good!

[:/]

I would have had them courtmartialed:|

Even the SLDN won't touch them.
:D

Why would they?

This isn't about "gay," it's about taking money for sex.

I can't see how these guys could've been any dumber.

What? As a "Protected Class", don't they have the right to do whatever they want? I mean, everybody knows the little darlings just can't help themselves, right?

Being a veteran of the 82nd I really do not find this funny. Now whenever someone hears about the 82nd all they will think about is this incident.

The Airborne is the epitome of manhood. This retarded situation will change that outlook.

I dont care if you were 101, 82 or anywhere in the 18th airborne corps.. Anytime anyone says Airborne you will be associated with these guys...

Hopefully they get kicked out before guys from other PIR's conduct an operation to their barracks and break a few limbs. I dont want to see any real Airborne guys get in trouble protecting the reputation of Americas Guard of Honor.

k i'm off my soapbox now...

I may have misunderstood your use of "fighting position" so I've got to ask...how in the world would anyone (male/female, heterosexual/homosexual) be thinking anything other than saving their asses and not getting shot if they are in a "fighting position"? Personally...I can't see how someone would be having sexual thoughts with bullets whizzing by them.
Life is short! Break the rules! Forgive quickly! Kiss slowly! Love truly, Laugh uncontrollably. And never regret anything that made you smile.

well since they dont seem to be capable of thinking in the first place I see your point!!

My point is that they were twisted enough to do that shit and post it on the web then didn't THINK about the aftermath...non thinkers get you killed...they don't need to be Einstein, just capable of remotely considering actions and outcomes.

BTW did you know there is a war going on?

You cannot have the distraction of sexual relationships in a combat arms outfit. It would cause to many problems. Which is why the rules are the way they are.

Its pretty much impossible to fully explain why unless you have been in that sort of an environment.

I'd be very surprised if, a few years from now, this incident is even remembered by anyone other than people who's entire agenda is defined by being anti-gay. Like those idiots who disrupt military funerals. I understand being outraged by these soldiers' actions but in the long run I doubt it will affect the legacy of the 82nd.

Kinda reminds me of Alexander the Great here. The elite fighting force of a nation and wow there are homosexuals.....Been hapening since the begining of time but now you just hear about it more.

No worries I was in the XVIII corp, I knew a very homosexual guys in the Infantry unit. 3 to be exact. 1 I would not want anywhere near me due to his incompetence but the other 2 could "get my back any day" <-------staright guy making a gay joke to lighten the mood!

I too was aware the some guys I served with were gay but I wouldn't have wanted 2 of them anywhere near me due to incompetence as well...but otherwise anyone else gay was fine ...except one gay female Captain that was my commander in the 7th INF!

OH how she loved parades[:/]

she was a man hater and a bulldyke at best

I know a few Gay Soldiers and these guys are very aggressive fighters, being a good soldier is nothing to do with your sexuality, the gays I knew are good at their jobs. Probaly the hardest I have ever been knocked out is by a 95kg lesbian girl sailor on a dance floor after I smiled at her girlfriend. Broke my nose and sent me flying about 10 meters, and a headache for 3 days after.....

this statement is the epitome of ignorance. doing 5 static line jumps doesn't make you a man or more manly.

all U.S. service members bleed the same color and deserve the same respect regardless of unit affiliation, branch of service, race, religious affiliation or gender.

I think it is more of an attitude that is associated with the Airborne heritage than the 5 jumps.

Not to long ago it was more "manly" to be Airborne and it even got "manlier" as you added Airborne, then Ranger then Special Forces, etc. etc.

Just clearing up the Manhood comment, not debating the what makes a man theory.

I was not trying to get into a pissing contest with the uniformed.
I was trying to explian the attitude that was being explained.
It is hard to do with one who is biased and unable to understand how pride and ego make one act, even though it affects them just as much, maybe not in a "defender of freedom" kind of way but a "user of freedom" kind of way.

Go ahead and bash and ban.

i fixed it for you.

No unfortunatly you did not fix it.

Until you go thru it you just would never understand.... its about esprit de corp.. its about tradition...its about duty.... and yes its about honor.

Try it...it does make a huge difference to many who go thru that crucible.
