deeter 0 #1 February 26, 2006 http://www.tallahassee.com/apps/pbcs.dll/article?AID=/20060223/NEWS01/602230318/1010 Make a click, SOMEONE. In his statement Wednesday, McKeithen said that because of the Anderson incident: "Drill instructors no longer feel confident in the execution of their duties. Juvenile offenders currently placed at the boot camp are taking advantage of the situation and are using the abuse hot line not for its intended purpose but as a means of retaliation." Execution of duty???? As a former active duty Marine, I am fucking DISGUSTED THAT THESE ASSHOLES CAN call themselves DI's. Agro FUCKS, is what I say. And that's ALL I'm going to say about that.....only after making several phone calls to this so called "boot camp" this night. First and LAST post to SC. (God help me when my husband see's this random outburst.)

Guest #4 February 26, 2006 Power-tripping thugs. I think "boot camp" reform only does one thing - harden those who already at risk, and teach them to hate even more. One wonders why these so-called "instructors" needed to brutalize this person. The only time I've (recently) read about someone being beaten to death in a boot camp was in the WWII Wehrmacht, where the instructors wanted to make an extreme example of what would happen to a Landser who wouldn't obey. But that was Prussian-style military training, which was in vogue in the 18th Century. That something like this happened in a correctional setting in the 21st century USA is more than just offensive, it's murder, and those "instructors" should get a taste of their own medicine for a few years. Maybe getting pounded in the ass by Leroy will drive it home. I despise the fuckers, but for once, I sincerely hope Jesse Jackson and Al Sharpton are all over this one. mh
