QuoteThis is NOT how a civilized society deals with problems.
Exactly, a civilized society sends in the bulldozers and flattens houses of civilians.

QuoteIn Palestine it is the kids who are straping bombs on themselves. They are being told by their own people to do that. Arent Palestinians killing their own children?
What do you think is the reason?
If you don't think there all crazy what would cause someone to fight back in this way? You have to really believe in a cause to be willing to die for it right?
So why are these kids who are usually not kids. Most of the time there young adults who come from midle class educated families choose to kill them selves as long as they can kill some of there enemy?
I think the reason is the disregard Israel has shown towards Palestinian life? How many children have the Israelis killed? How many homes have they destroyed?
My point- it takes a lot of pain and desperation for someone to choose to end there life. It takes a lot of hate to be willing to kill your self just to take a few of your enemy out as well.
I don’t believe the hate is there because the Israelis are Jews. I believe the hate is there because of what the Israelis have done in the past 50 years.
Let’s not forget it is commonly known that the Israeli government uses torture as one of its interrogation methods. I don’t understand why no one in the world is allowed to get away with such acts accept Israeli

...civilized society sends in the bulldozers and flattens houses of civilians where the leaders are hiding. Please note that Israel does not house its leaders anywhere around the civilians. The Palestenians have used the tactic of putting its leaders around civilians, and when the civilians get hurt in the process of Israel taking out the leaders, Palestenians claim that Israel targeted children. Then the Palestinians retaliate by strapping bombs on their OWN kids.

Good point. I don't know why you and me are the only ones who see these things?
No one sees the inhumane and barbaric way the Israelis act and when they do they brush it off like no big deal. I don’t get thatI'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain

QuoteWhat do you think is the reason?
I think it partially has to do with poverty. Muslims occupied that piece of land for thousands of years, and managed to stay in poverty. With all the riches of the land, and all the years to do something with it, and yet today they have to count on other nations giving them money.
Israel, though with outside support, managed to grow a productive country with a good standard of living, and good education. I would be jealous too if someone moved in next door, and all of a sudden had everything I wanted.
Poverty can drive people to do anything. If you pay someone enough money when they are desperate enough, they will do somehting as unbeleivable is blow themselves up in the name of God.
Like Hitler used Jews, gays and gypsies for all of Germany's problems, Palestine uses Israel. How about taking some responsibility insrtead?

What’s your point of view? Do you think that Palestinians hate their children and want them to die?
Are Muslims just genetically crazy in your opinion?
reply] No, its not genetics, its Islam.
In the 3,000 years of recorded history between 2500 B.C.E. to 500 C.E. there isn’t a single incident in all of recorded history of Arabs leaving Arabia to conquer or plunder anyone. Then Muhammad invented a religion based upon jihad—holy war and plunder. He called it Islam—submission. Muhammad personally led 75 terrorist raids, all against civilians and exclusively for the purpose of stealing booty and gaining power and control. Within a year of his death, his successor led the War of Compulsion and forever robbed Arabia of any semblance of freedom. In the next ten years, without any provocation, the first Muslims attacked and conquered civilians in Israel, Syria, Egypt, Yemen, and Turkey. Within its first 100 years, Islamic terrorists had ravaged and plundered every civilization from Spain to India. What changed these people if it was not Islam?
I can't take credit for that although it does seem to lay the facts out on the table. The link to read the rest is http://www.prophetofdoom.net/waronterror_openletter.html

Obviously the above statement is a joke, but how do you explain the madness involved in allowing the death of your sons and daughters so they can commit murder in the belief they will be rewarded in heaven.

Ten killed in Gaza raids
At least 10 Palestinians, including two children, are reported killed and several wounded during two separate Israeli army operations in the Gaza Strip.
About 20 Israeli tanks and armoured vehicles backed by helicopters entered the Nusseirat camp early on Monday, exchanging intense gunfire with Palestinian fighters.
Palestinian medical staff said the dead included a four-year-old girl and a 13-year-old boy as well as a man wanted by Israel.
The Israeli operation, which aimed to arrest suspected militants and demolish their houses, lasted several hours.
In a separate incursion, Israeli forces entered parts of the town of Beit Lahiya in northern Gaza and killed two members of the Palestinian police at a checkpoint, according to Palestinian security officials.
She gave her life trying to protect those that could not protect themselves

Tanks took control of the roads.
The Israelis say that they were conducting a search for what they called terror cells in an area from which rockets and mortars have been fired at Israeli targets.
On Sunday, an American peace activist was killed after she was run over by an Israeli bulldozer in the southern Gaza Strip.
An Israeli military spokesman said that Rachel Corrie's death was an accident.
The US Government has asked Israel for a full investigation.
'Militant targeted'
A convoy of cars, decked with the flags of Palestinian militant groups, moved defiantly through the streets of Nusseirat - a funeral procession for those killed during the Israeli raid.
Witnesses said the four-year-old girl was killed by a stray bullet that entered the house where she was sheltering with her family.
Four-year-old Ihlam Assar was killed by tank fire, said her aunt, Itmead.
"All the children gathered near the kitchen while the tanks were firing outside, from all directions," she said.
"The girl was standing next to my daughter when she got a bullet in her chest, leaving her in a pool of blood among the scared children."
One of the targets of the Nusseirat raid was said to be Mohammed Saafin, a Palestinian fighter who had links with two militant groups, Islamic Jihad and the al-Aqsa Brigades.
He was killed during a gun battle with Israeli troops and his five-storey house destroyed.
In a statement, the Israeli army accused Mohammed Saafin of involvement in a series of attacks on Israeli targets.
The raids are the latest of almost nightly assaults by Israel against militants in Gaza over the past few weeks.
Protesters
Witnesses said Ms Corrie, aged 23, from Olympia, Washington, had been trying to stop the demolition of a Palestinian building in the Rafah refugee camp.
There were eight international protesters at the site - four American and four British - all members of a group called International Solidarity Movement.
Ms Corrie was the first member of the organisation to be killed in the conflict in the Palestinian territories.
The Israeli army accused the group of acting irresponsibly by intentionally placing themselves in a combat zone.
Israeli forces use tanks and bulldozers to destroy buildings near the Gaza-Egypt border, which they say are used as cover by Palestinian gunmen to shoot at Israeli troops patrolling the area.
Groups of international protesters have gathered in several locations in the West Bank and Gaza over the last two years, trying to protect families whose homes are due to be demolished by Israeli forces.
West Bank closed
The death occurred as the Israeli army reinforced its closure of the West Bank and Gaza Strip amid fears of attacks during a forthcoming Jewish holiday.
Palestinians will be prevented from entering Israel during the festival of Purim, which runs from Monday to Wednesday, a military statement said.
Israeli radio said the order came from Prime Minister Ariel Sharon and Defence Minister Shaul Mofaz. It added that intelligence sources had warned of attacks being planned.
Palestinian sources said that more than 10,000 workers from Gaza had been prevented from going to work in Israel on Sunday morning.

Now off course, this is Israel claiming that and no one independent is backing it up...
I am certainly not condoning kids being sent in as suicide bombers, but this whole Israel/jewish holier than though thing is wrong, sickening and a joke.

Hey, it's none of our business. It's between the kid's mom and her doctor. Keep your religion off of her body. Abortions into the 80th month.

Can someone point out an incident where Israelis were killing their own people?
Dunno about children, but there was that whole Yitzhak Rabin assassination... Killing one's own PM is pretty outrageous, if you ask me...comparably outrageous to killing one's family even if the act itself is not comparable. Definitely has a bigger national impact...

They did not have nearly the help that was given to Israeli. The US basically supplied Israeli with a state of the art army

Jealous at move next door yes but i think you would be pissed if they moved inside your home.

The Jews never did anything to Hitler. I don't think we should compare Hitler to any one. He was a crazy and evil person. The Palestinians just want their home back. BIG difference.

Darius and Pop: everyone knows most of the outrages each side has inflicted on each other. Arguing about who started it and who is just responding is pointless, just pointless. It’s time to get down to the business of figuring out how the two peoples can live in peace already. Are you up to the task? Waging war (including in this forum) is easy; any moron can do it. Waging peace requires courage and determination. It’s time to hammer the swords into plowshares. What better place to start than here and now?
I challenge each of you to stop arguing about who’s to blame and start becoming partners – with each other – for peace. The children and grandchildren deserve nothing less.

I remember hearing the call on NPR from one of the eye witness protesters. How he said the driver saw the young girl but kept on heading towards her with no regards for her life. Maybe the driver thought it was juts a young Palestinian girl and didn’t care.
The story shows the disregard the Israelis have for anyone but there own.
The true meaning of racism.

Darius.. its 1000 years ago or so... let it go already.... how many times do you need to go down this road... the past is the past... the future is what the people there are going to make of it.
Personally I dont think that the whole 72 virgins in heaven thing is a real good way of thinking about heaven... is there REALLLY going to be SEX in heaven??? SEX is a biological thing.... heaven is supposed to be about transcending the body.
So.. the leaders of Hamas and the Imams etc.... are they just appealing to little head thinking for these young men???
think about it..

Please don't give me that. Did you see who I replayed to????????????? Did you see that they were talking about history? If you did then I don’t need to replay to this.
I wonder about that. I think that society as a whole preaches hate, and uses poverty and religion as an excuse. There is no way to rationalize strapping a bomb to a kid and sending him/her off to blow himself and other children up. There is something fundamentaly wrong here. This is NOT how a civilized society deals with problems.
Not at all. Some of my closest friends are of muslim decent. It's the extremists that ARE. It's unfortunate that a few individuals (not really that few, but compared to 1.2 billion muslims its a small number) are giving the rest of the good hard working people such a bad name.
