Cindy Sheehan needs a bullet

just 20%? Well there's proof right THERE that you aren't stalking her... it's WAY more than 20%, honey.

LOL! I was just going off the first page - didn't want to spend more than 5 minutes on the subject. How funny to be called a stalker for reading a thread and responding to a post. I'm still chuckling about that.

On a different note - your job interview went well, I've read...YAY for you!! Well done.

I don't care if someone is against the war that is being fought in so many places that we don't have enough fingers and toes to count them on...

She is an afront to many of us who served and continue to serve, and yet still gets away with using others names without permission, and represents herself as a speaker for all of them.

If you don't have permission to speak for a dead person DON'T!!![:/]

Just wanted to state for the record that I object to your title for this thread, right out the gate. The above quote from you is fine. It's a reasonable opinion, whether I agree with it or not.

Cindy Sheehan however does NOT "need a bullet". If you want to vent at her, excoriate her, maybe even picket her house, sue her, or possibly have her arrested (though I'm not sure for what), those are all fine and she can answer you back.

But we are a nation under law, and people who we disagree with, or who piss us off do not "need a bullet". A "can of whoopass", maybe. But we don't make our decisions or air our differences by shooting each other. Especially not a dead slodier's mother. She might piss you off, that's fine, but you can't possibly get inside her skin and feel what the loss of her son has obviously done to her.

So save the bullet for yourself. Does that offend you ? It should. So don't be so free with prescribing a bullet for ANYBODY else.

Your humble servant.....Professor Gravity !

BTW, you can stalk me. B|

Apparently, if I respond to a post of yours, I'm stalking. So consider yourself "stalked" by those parameters. ROFL!!!

Tom and Michael, if you'll note, I changed the "re: " line to reflect my opinion of the thread title.

All have a right to protest. All have a right to be heard. However, all do not have a right to infringe upon others' rights, and that is a difficult line sometimes to adhere to.

No one has a right to be 'heard'. They have a right to 'speak'.

if you had a right to be heard, then that would imply people must be forced to stick around and listen

I can choose to ignore or walk away from anything, anyone says. (Unless I'm serving on a jury - then I have a 'duty' to listen carefully to everything said in that context.)

Edit: I wonder if their ever was a court case where someone sued for violation of free speech when everybody in the room just walked out when they started a rant.....?

I stand corrected. Thanks. That is, though, what I meant...but still, I misspoke (miswrote?).
