LMAO Nice try, but it's a new story, and the evidence indicating that Bush, if not an outright liar, is at least careless with the truth, had been classified. As has most of the Iraq Survey Report, the unclassified parts of which, contary to rushmc's repeated claims, shows that Iraq had no WMDs and no WMD programs.... The only sure way to survive a canopy collision is not to have one.

billvon 3,066 #6 April 13, 2006 >Any other OLD stories you libs can drum up . . . No, but here's a nice fresh one. I'll post it here so the right wingers can work up Bush defenses early: ---------- Lacking Biolabs, Trailers Carried Case for War Administration Pushed Notion of Banned Iraqi Weapons Despite Evidence to Contrary By Joby Warrick Washington Post Staff Writer Wednesday, April 12, 2006; A01 On May 29, 2003, 50 days after the fall of Baghdad, President Bush proclaimed a fresh victory for his administration in Iraq: Two small trailers captured by U.S. and Kurdish troops had turned out to be long-sought mobile "biological laboratories." He declared, "We have found the weapons of mass destruction." The claim, repeated by top administration officials for months afterward, was hailed at the time as a vindication of the decision to go to war. But even as Bush spoke, U.S. intelligence officials possessed powerful evidence that it was not true. A secret fact-finding mission to Iraq -- not made public until now -- had already concluded that the trailers had nothing to do with biological weapons. Leaders of the Pentagon-sponsored mission transmitted their unanimous findings to Washington in a field report on May 27, 2003, two days before the president's statement. ----------- Some suggestions for your Bush-defenses: "His staff can't be expected to read every single report on Iraqi WMD's before he gives speeches on them!" "No one believes those bumbling Pentagon fools." "The intent was more important than the actual facts." "So it was a unanimous finding; that doesn't mean that everyone agreed on it." "As the president, he has the right to de-truthify any findings he wants in the interests of national security."

As was brought up in another thread I guess all that right wing bleating about integrity doesnt mean a damn thing when it applies to them.

LMAO I hate to burst your bubble, but G.W. is NOT a conservative. And to those who use the terms 'Libs' and 'Cons', how about a little debate instead of pointless name calling?
