nicsoew 0 #1 May 24, 2017 I was searching for fast canopy (90 kilograms here) for a man of my size. I found Springo 160, brand new (never used, 10 years in wardrobe), bought it for 450 euros and its really - brand new as seller said. Until now I was jumping with Ultimate 170 from Paraavis and Parafoil 282 (accuracy) and Troll 285 - BASE. My rigger said I needto be careful with Springo as it is way faster. I will make my first jump with it in 10 days and I am kinda nervous (I have legs fear as my both legs were badly broken). Can someone tell me what is the difference between 2 canopies and are my fears realistic.
philipturneraa 1 #2 May 24, 2017 Perhaps it's worth asking a friend who is more experienced on faster canopies to give it a whoosh before you?
piisfish 140 #3 May 24, 2017 The Springo fabric does not age well, the line set either. Already when new, the flare power is relatively weak. Take care of your legs.scissors beat paper, paper beat rock, rock beat wingsuit - KarlM
nicsoew 0 #5 May 24, 2017 Thnx for the tip. I will be careful with flare. Regarding ageing, canopy newer saw sun, it is still factory packed - was in fact, till sunday so I hope it will perform well.
