Do you think I am responsible for the murders because I am tan?

Maybe not, but you sure do make a lot of excuses for people sub-humans who blow up buses full of civilians.

I'd enjoy seeing where your money and support goes dude . . . >:(

Maybe you will explain for us the consistency and logic in supporting a very expensive foreign war, wanting a strengthening of the military, calling for decreased government spending while supporting a government that increased spending, proclaiming fiscal responsibity while running up record debts, and at the same time whining for tax cuts.

Not what I support by a long shot.

Can't explain the cause and effect, huh? I'm giving you an 'F' Professor.

Fine. Does that make it OK to celebrate the mayhem? Doing something really, really right doesn't make everything he does OK, does it?

Wendy W.

I agree. It's not that different from blowing up a country which wasn't threatening anyone and then talking about what a great job we're doing in reconstruction (which we're not by the way). All that songs like this do is fuel the hatred of those who wish to harm us, and make money for Black's recording company.

If you don't support it, why do you support Bush so strongly? You claim to be against almost all of his actions yet defend him like he is your mother.

You are unqualified to hand out grades.

Because I argue the other side of some issues doesn't mean I support Bush's view. It also doesn't mean I support your view on the issue. Most who label others as pro-Bush really have no idea of Bush's view either. It's just not how they see it, so it must be pro-Bush. :S

You might want to think about what I have said about Immigration, Religion, Abortion and a multitude of other issues that I have major dissagreements with Bush on before you use the rubber stamp.

A good example would be those who think you are a liberal, when in fact you hold many consrvative views.

Yeah, that's much worse than doing things like, pulling school girls off of their school buses and shooting them dead in the name of Allah. Or shooting tennis players because they're wearing shorts. Heck, those kind of things are nothing at all in comparison to someone writing a song!

John what do the two have to do with each other? Do you think I am responsible for the murders because I am tan?

I am unaware of your skin color.

What I am aware of, however, by your words here, is your one-sided anti-American bias on such issues.

We notice that you bash America when U.S. soldiers do something bad, but you are quiet as a mouse when Muslims do something bad.

We notice that you bash America when you don't like our politics, but you don't utter a peep when Muslims threaten death and destruction.

Perhaps if you raised the same outrage over what those "tan" people are doing, then you would have some credibility. But instead, it just seems like you're only interested in bashing us "white" people.

Yeah, we notice your double-standard.

I see you no different then the Islamic extremist who riot because of a stupid cartoon. Actually there much better then you at least they are willing to die for there belief to are you willing to die for your boy Clint Black?

So if Clint Black was willing to charge into a mosque and blow himself up in a suicide attack, killing dozens of innocent Muslim worshipers along with himself, then you would have more respect for him?

Gosh, you sure have an odd standard for "respect".

Thanks for revealing your true feelings. It ain't a pretty sight.

Were you one of those people that celebrated when the Twin Towers were destroyed?

That because when the Muslims kill there is enough voices of reason that say what was done was wrong there is no one protecting the murders. That is not the case when a US troop has committed murder. You guys bring every excuse known to man to make them seem right or just for there murder

One suggestion, before you post something like this, apply it to yourself and switch "tan" and "white". Personally, I speak out when I see the things that we do wrong because they're WRONG and I expect better from us. It disgusts me how low we've stooped recently. We're supposed to lead by example and I'm sick of the "well.....they did too" defense. It's pre-adolescent bullshit.

I was one of those people who got fired because I am from Iran, I was also one of those people that even after being fired applied with the FBI so I could help out in finding who was responsible.

I am also one of those people who has the intelligence to understand who is responsible and not to blame everyone for the actions of a few

I am also one of those people who has seen other countries and other cultures. I am one of those people who values all life the same no matter what color they are no matter what country they are a citizen of.

I'd respect his conviction. It would show more integrity than sending other people in to do a job that you're not willing to do.

No, that was Cheney, Wolfowitz, Rummy and the rest of the PNAC folks. They finally got the "catalyzing event like pearl harbor" that they were looking for since 1997.

Um, what's being compared in this discussion is someone exercising their 1st Amendment right to free speech via a song, with the daily massacres committed by extremist Muslims against innocent Muslims.

I just don't see them as somehow being equally evil. Do you?

At least here in America we have freedom of speech, even if it's unpopular to some. In Muslim nations, they have no such freedom, and can be hunted down and killed for publishing something unpopular.

Except for Darius' Iran, where the government wants nothing but peace, love and freedom for all mankind.

Yet you only seem capable of bashing America, and not the Muslim countries...

Humor me. Post a new thread for discussion based upon a news story about something being done wrong by Muslims in a Muslim nation, and add your opinion to it. Let's see if you can do it, just to provide some balance to your views here.

How many sovereign nations has Iran invaded and occupied recently? How many have we? How many times has Iran overthrown our government in the last 100 years? How many times have we overthrown theirs? See a pattern?

On the drive home I decided I wasn't going to let this one go. I have a question. What would you say if a bunch of people said they wanted to invade Iraq and transform the military so that we could better extend the US's influence throughout the world. Then those very same people get elected and appointed to the highest public offices in the country but the only thing holding them back is a lack of public support for their lofty goals. Then along comes a galvanizing event that gives that leadership unprecedented public support and a rallying sense of nationalism. Do you think it's possible that those leaders might use that event to their advantage? Is that crazy, America bashing thought? Or is that a logical assumption?
Hmmm... let me think of some more crazy, irrational stuff like......"they might use planes as missiles" vs. "no one expected them to use planes as missiles". Or, hmmm....there's this Arab guy on a watch list got some kookie financial thing going on, taking flying lessons and doesn't want to know how to land.....gee...that seems weird....Oh! Wife Swap is on. Gotta go!!!

So you have no evidence for your claim. OK.

There is plenty of evidence for my claim right here in the archives of DZ.COM. Many of the same folks that want their taxes lowered are also strongly in favor of the (very expensive) war. You just have to read the posts from the usual suspects.

And many of those same folks were smart enough to know that lowering taxes would increase revenues. That we're mis-spending the additional revenues is another topic.
