How many times has Iran overthrown our government in the last 100 years? How many times have we overthrown theirs? See a pattern?... I have a question. What would you say if a bunch of people said they wanted to invade Iraq and transform the military so that we could better extend the US's influence throughout the world. Then those very same people get elected and appointed to the highest public offices in the country but the only thing holding them back is a lack of public support for their lofty goals. Then along comes a galvanizing event that gives that leadership unprecedented public support and a rallying sense of nationalism. Do you think it's possible that those leaders might use that event to their advantage? Is that crazy, America bashing thought? Or is that a logical assumption? Hmmm... let me think of some more crazy, irrational stuff like......"they might use planes as missiles" vs. "no one expected them to use planes as missiles". Or, hmmm....there's this Arab guy on a watch list got some kookie financial thing going on, taking flying lessons and doesn't want to know how to land.....gee...that seems weird....Oh!
