Nightwing 0 #1 July 19, 2006 Howzit, Went hunting a coupla weeks back and bagged my first buck. Turns out it was the heaviest Gemsbok aka Oryx taken on my buddy's farm. Took it with an old Musgrave .308 Cheers, Courteney. Shit! The pic is too big to attach. Will try and resize and send. Drags me down, like some sweet gravity... Nightwing has stirred, and taken to flight...the silence is over, he's shattered the night!!!

warpedskydiver 0 #3 July 19, 2006 Wow thats an awesome buck! Well how far was he from you when shot, and what did the bullet do? Nearly any animal on earth can be taken with a .

Skyrad 0 #6 July 20, 2006 It tastes very similar but slightly stronger. Best eatten as biltong in my opinion (simply because I love biltong) Yum!When an author is too meticulous about his style, you may presume that his mind is frivolous and his content flimsy. Nightwing 0 #8 July 21, 2006 It was standing at about +-150m across a small valley. Had to stare at it through the scope for 20min before I finally pulled the trigger. Very intense hunt. Excellent and how did the bullet perform? what type? post mortem examination of bullet path? and expansion?? I ask because I do use a .308 for hunting as well as my .270. You have just been on a hunt I have only dreamed of. When I was very small my Nono(grandfather) promised that when he retired we would go on a hunt in Africa. I wish he would have lived at least just a few more years so I would have been old enough to go, before he got sick and died. I will go someday that is a fact!
