Aye, this is the view of any objective observer. While Israelis don't specifically target civilians, if a few are killed along with some militants it appears to be OK.

Hamas aim for civilians when possible since they're soft targets. Hizbollah will engage the IDF when the tactical situation is advantageous but likes to inflict casulaties on the Israeli civilian population.

As I am sure you've understood, my question was a bit rethorical.
