Nice excuse!! It could be myriad other things too. We can all play! Maybe he was shooting into the ground in the building and it was a dirt floor. Maybe, like was stated, there's a bullet trap in there or piles of dirt and rubble to shoot into.

Also notice how clean the man's clothes are.

Seen it already, but the worst aspect is the editors who use the selective clips from the raw footage to present a lie. It happens all the time, it's the stock in trade of some organizations. There's no such thing as journalistic ethics anymore, they don't even know what it means.

Maybe the difference isn't in the bullshit, but in those believing the bullshit? Seems like more people trust the "local journalists", who have been caught making shit up time and time again over the Israelis. You can see that just by the posts here in SC.

Each side has a PR machine working overtime and control of its own areas. A healthy dose of skepticism is appropriate for ALL reports out of a war zone.

Yes. In my observation, however, people seem to be more likely to question the Israeli reports and to beleive the Pallywood reports.

I don't believe either. But then, I'm a crabby old skeptic who remembers how each side has been caught lying in the past.

I'm talking about the Arabic press. We publish the number of our dead straight up.
Your example was reported by the Israeli army. Those are only the ones they can count.

A little searching can avoid silly mistakes.

"11 Hezbollah fighters killed in battle" (Khaleej Times, UAE)

"26 Hezbollah fighters killed ; Israeli drone crashes in Lebanon ..." (Peninsula On-line, Qatar)

". . . Israeli soldiers have killed 15 Hezbollah fighters in the area over the past few days . . ." (Gulf News, UAE)

"Security sources said four Hezbollah fighters were also killed ..." (Gulf Times, Qatar)

"Al Jazeera television said four Israelis had been killed . . .Hezbollah said one of its fighters was killed." (Times of Oman, Oman)
