Darius11 12 #1 August 8, 2006 One is Death In Gaza- It shows the lives of the Palestinians. It shows everything it does not try to show them as inocent angels at all and shows some things that are very disturbing. However I believe it is a great movie as it helps you understand why there is s much hate in that part of the world. A Muslim or Jew did not do this movie. The other one I just watched last night it is called Control Room. It is a documentary about Al Jazzier TV stations and there reporters. I think this was a great movie as it shows a different perspective. I know in the US and Western Media they have been demonized, but give the movie a chance and just watch it. This is for anyone who is out to learn how and why people feel the way they do. I would love to hear any ones thoughts that have or will watch these movies. I specially recommend these documentaries to the people who disagree with me the most. Thank you.I'd rather be hated for who I am, than loved for who I am not." - Kurt Cobain
wmw999 2,446 #2 August 8, 2006 I saw Control Room. I thought it was really good. Here's what I said at the time. Wendy W.There is nothing more dangerous than breaking a basic safety rule and getting away with it. It removes fear of the consequences and builds false confidence. pirana 0 #4 August 8, 2006 Thanks for the tip. I look forward to seeing them, eventually. Speaking of documentaries, anybody else here see Memory of the Camps (or something like that)? It was an incomplete work, partly directed by Hitchcock, on the concentration camps. Incredibly gripping footage. Best (or worst) I've ever seen on the subject." . . . the lust for power can be just as completely satisfied by suggesting people into loving their servitude as by flogging them and kicking them into obedience." -- Aldous Huxley
