A Land Fit for Criminals

Story:
Real Crime, Fake Justice

For the last 40 years, government policy in Britain, de facto if not always de jure, has been to render the British population virtually defenseless against criminals and criminality. Almost alone of British government policies, this one has been supremely effective: no Briton nowadays goes many hours without wondering how to avoid being victimized by a criminal intent on theft, burglary, or violence.

An unholy alliance between politicians and bureaucrats who want to keep prison costs to a minimum, and liberal intellectuals who pretend to see in crime a natural and understandable response to social injustice, which it would be a further injustice to punish, has engendered a prolonged and so far unfinished experiment in leniency that has debased the quality of life of millions of people...

How can one be racist against citizens of Britain? There are many races that live there.

No, he is not a racist. But he does have a grudge it seems, a need to prove that you are no better than us. A reaction to the way some Brits and people of other countries disparage America for being violent and full of crime.

And there are people like that here. And there are also people who are NOT like that. But this is definitely not the best way to show the former that they are wrong (pointing out that you are a jerk does little to show that I am not a jerk). But hey, it sparks much mudslinging so I am all for it. :|
Why yes, my license number is a palindrome. Thank you for noticing.

I know if they would just admit they are not better than everybody else you would quit!

But keep it up! I really enjoy the pure frustration you cause them!!:P

By the way. I found this article too (I bet from the same place you did). What really strikes me is that many Brits on this site speak to how the US gov misleads its people. Do they think the same about thier gov? How abut when they see articles such as this/

Look everybody else, I am not trying to stir things up! Just some observations ......

Same way as you can be racist against italians, french or germans. Racism isn't just about colour or religion its about an identity.

Anyway, I don't honestly believe John is racist just always seems to want to belittle the UK in favour of his land.

Maybe if he wasn't so fucking obnoxious he wouldn't need to own so much weaponary to protect himself. Best tool and line of defense is your mouth. I'd love to see him shooting his mouth off in a British bar, wouldn't last 5 minutes.

I think it's a Palestinian/Israeli kind of issue. It goes back to our forefathers being kicked out of England only to be subjects of - England. We didn't want England raping and pillaging the Indians - we wanted to do it ourselves and without England's help and taxes.

So we identify with the Potatoheads in the South Boston bars who want to send resources to their countrymen (well, ancient homeland contrymen) to fight against the British scourge in Ireland.

I'm of the strong opinion that pure frustration is on the other side of the fence, reason to submit so many manic anti-Brit postings.

You didn't really bother to read posts/comments of Brits, right? They are critical, query their government and openly talk about it.

No, you're not. It needs more to stir things up. :|

It needs self-assurance to clean the own back yard and not simply to point out to neighbours' dirty one.

Funny, I thought it was about race. Wow, you learn something new every day. So if a freeflyer wants to mock swoopers, or a CrW dawg wants to mock 4-way, then we should call them RACIST. I mean, for some it is about identity. Thanks for the lesson.

When you extrapolate 'that' term to just apply to any type of gross stereotype, then it just becomes a lazy way to curse at someone.

Now that's a GREAT comment that applies to many on both sides of the pond and other locations.

My choice of words might not be perfect. But if someone constantly insults a paticular country, that is racist. Paticularly if its without reason.

Maybe a more fitting term would be ethnocentric. My society and way of life is correct, everyone elses is wrong, I know best, all people living differently are weird etc etc

Hi 2 U, that was not your best post. There were many other brilliant posts, which I always enjoyed.

Scoop said "... isn't just...", leaving it open for many more varied interpretations. There are many more. Racism also includes disrespecting minorities (different races, cultures etc.).

Your example with skydivers of "every race" ( ;)) is fairly weak.

BTW: How are you?

I know John. He's a whole lot taller than any troll I could imagine. Also really nice, and a good jumper.

But when it comes to guns and their association with liberty (at least in SC), I'd have to say that he not only has a one-track mind, but it only runs on one rail.

I just have to ask... Home-Schooled?

This is not a story. It is a book review. A very positive book review written by the man whose own book is budled with Fraser's for sale together.

http://www.amazon.co.uk/gp/product/1857769643/026-1660096-3059628?v=glance&n=266239

(Get it now. This & the linked pages must surely be JR's wishlist).

The reason it was rejected by the first 60 publishers is that it's hate-fuelled repetitive & inaccurate drivel - the sort I'm sure many of us could write about what was wrong with a past job, harking back to some halcyon Britain of the author's childhood.

I'd be the first to admit that there are things wrong with Britain's Criminal-Justice System. Regrettably, the author hasn't correctly identified any of them.

John, what the fuck do you have against Britain. Are you actually a racist or do you just have nothing better to do than trawl up random bits of shit from the internet and claim them as fact?

Getting very boring

Sir, you have once again attempted to insult my country, usually I would at this point engage you in a battle of wit, yet I see you have only come half prepaired! Good day to you Sir.
