matthewcline 0 #2 August 21, 2006 I have read all I can find. I do not agree with most any of them.An Instructors first concern is student safety. So, start being safe, first!!!
Nightingale 0 #3 August 21, 2006 Cool! I've read most of them as well, and picked the one that best fit my views, even though I don't agree with all of it.
Lefty 0 #4 August 21, 2006 I wish I could say I have...unfortunately the libertarians have dismantled theirs, so its nowhere to be found. Edit: Which further convinces me that parties are worthless, when even as noble an ideal as libertarianism can be taken over by foolish party "leaders".Provoking a reaction isn't the same thing as saying something meaningful. -Calvin

It's right here. http://www.lp.org/issues/platform_all.shtml I found it in about two clicks, under the "issues" heading.
TheAnvil 0 #6 August 21, 2006 I've read the political platforms for both the Dem's and the Rep's. Read the LP website quite a bit too. Vinny the Anvil Post Traumatic Didn't Make The Lakers Syndrome is REAL JACKASS POWER!!!!!!
billvon 3,070 #7 August 21, 2006 Well, I don't think "independent" has a party statement, so I can't say I've read mine. I've read the republicans and democrats platforms, and I find them both pretty meaningless. It used to be that a party chose a platform and then worked on getting people who believed in such things to vote for their candidates. Nowadays it seems like pollsters poll people to see what they believe - and _then_ the parties write their platforms to match. I also read a few libertarian platforms, and while they are pretty interesting, I don't think they'll survive contact with reality. I think that if we ever got more than a few libertarian senators/representatives elected, the party platform would rapidly coalesce into something more implementable - which would probably just piss off the 'real' libertarians.
